I took a pretty employment drug test for a CNA position and they said I failed. I am legally prescribed methadone so is it possible for the methadone to have results affecting other sections of the panel? ## Damn discriminatory bastards the medical field is the worst i think.

I been on methadone for 9 years, oxy and fentynal b4 that ! Now I been off methadone for 2 months I am now on suboxone, how long do the post acute withdrawals last I still feel horrible I mean better then I was of course but I got this ring ing on my head and wen I relax or try sleep I feel horrible! !!!! I am a severe burn victim with many health problems besides the burns, I have several disc out and disc degenerative disease, fibermolgia, disc in my neck messed up and neuropathy and the list goes on. My dr has prescribed me methadone for over 8 yrs, now she is saying I have to go to a pain clinic so I went and all they want to give me is antidepressants and OxyCotinER 20 X 4 which I have tried now for over two weeks and I am screaming sick in pain. I went back today and all he would do is change the antidepressant meds. Which is BS I haven't needed any antidepressant in over 10 yrs. I've been taking 5 days now 30 milligrams of pink liquid methadone I'm using it to help me get off pills I had a moderate pill addiction 7 or 8 green Percocet 15 everyday at most for about 9 or 10 months I haven't had no pills in 7 days but five of them is because of methadone how long will it take me to go through withdrawals will I have withdrawals what's the easiest way to get off of it how long will the withdrawals last I'm scared of becoming addicted to methadone and don't want to take it anymore any help would be appreciated ## Ughh I really feel for ya!! I'm on methadone in Pittsburgh have 13 days carry on for an 18 day vacation in Germany. I need to know how and where to see a doctor abroad to get my meds for an extra 5 days. Thanx ## Skip every third day. With the half life you'll have no problem. I always do that when i get 2 weeks off but take 3. You may have a mental problem but no physical one. When they switch people to suboxone you have to go to the third day w/out medication so it's doable.

I have been on the methadone program for 12 years on 80 to 90 mil a day. Suddenly the doctor who is on charge has decided to cut me out completely just because I am taking 30mil Co-codamol for my neck and sometimes when i cannot sleep i take 20mil temazepam sleeping tablets, now already cut 20mil I am going through extra nigthmares, my nerves are making me unstable and i dont know what is going to happen to me. I am on 60 mg of methadone from a substance abuse clinic. I dose Monday-Friday at the clinic and take home Saturday and Sunday's dose. After dosing at the clinic, in front of the pharmacist, for 3 days, my urine test came up negative for methadone and positive for methadone metabolites. They are acting like I did something wrong for the test to come back like that. How is it negative when they watch me take it 5 days a week?

Hi, I am trying to find a pm that doesn't require injections. I've had every kind and the last 4 or 5 put me in the hospital because of heart and diabetes. Now current pm ended up with legal trouble because of her husband. Next thing I know she's saying my urine came up with methadone, which is impossible I've never ever taken it. She cut me back instead of released me. But if she really thought i was screwing up I bealive she would have released me. So before I'm left without I need a new compassionate doc in New Jersey. My name is Lorre im looking for a new pain Dr in the Wis. Area my current Dr is leaving her practice as of July 1st. She prescribed 10 mg Methadone and 30 mg Oxycodone I've been with her for 6 years taking the same for that many years. Anyone know of a Dr that prescribes these type of medications? I've had 2 cervical fusions do to the first one fell apart after a year. So I had to have a post cervical and a interior fusion done ended up with a nerve disorder called dystonia . And a lot of pain with numbness / shocks from head to toe.And so many other pain issues. Arthritis, Limited movements with pain or with out movements . Was in rehab in the past under court order so finding a Dr. that will give narcotics for my pain has been close to impossible. Want to get pain meds from Dr. not from street. Anyone know a doctor who is sympathetic to chronic pain patients around Traverse City, MI. area? ## You might want to contact a lawyer to see if your states reports people who have been in rehab by the state and if people are flagged and how a doctor would get that information. Sometimes this information is not shared between agency's. For example I don't know how your doctor would know unless you are flagged by your state monitoring program. To whom it may concern, I was in a serious motorcycle accident at the end of 2013. I went to my doctor to b checked out and I was in such excruciating PAIN. My life was changed and filed with pain and I've got a Great DR. who has helped get my life back to as close to manageable. I have great insurance but before that I had to pay cash and they we're charging 800$ every month. I would appreciate any help you can give me. I've got all my documentations. Has anyone at all ever had a positive experience at a methadone clinic? ## The methadone clinic can be what you make of it. I went on it when I just could not afford to go through months of not being able to function to get clean again. It saved my life, I transitioned onto it without being sick at all (primarily because I still used at the very beginning tbh), but it gave me stability, helped me get away from the habits and the being sick and the fear, and helped me get back into recovery. I admit after years of prejudice against methadone as a means of recovery I was ashamed and embarrassed to be on it, but I was out of options. It turned out to be much different that I had imagined. I have been on the clinic for a little over 5 years before I recently walked off 80mg. That probably wasn't one of the brightest ideas I've had in a while, but I didn't do it without a plan! Need help finding a liberal pain management 31st or x clinic in St. louis Mo asap as mine gave us two weeks notice and bailed. I have Illinois Public aid but haven't had any luck with them and the methadone clinics are outrageously expensive plus I have transportation issues. Got 8 serious chronic pain issues documented by every dam test there is... Please I am desperate...at the end of my rope.... I can't function at all much less get outta bed to go to work. I have taken 6 10mg methadones by snorting them from 3/11 to 3/17 half at a time one in the morning and the other half in the afternoon sometimes I felt I didn't get the whole half cause I would blow my nose and it would come out I need to know if I could pass a ua on 3/21 for a job ## It can range anywhere from 5-12 days depending on things like how much you use. How often. The amount things like that. Physical exercise helps lots of water how fast your body metabolism is and your tolerance can be factors also.

I took 1 lortab 5 for 6 days straight due to a broken tooth and exposed nerve bc I was on vacation and could not get in to a dentist as my insurance is Wisconsin. No one would see me. I'm tapering at a methadone clinic and have not relapsed in 6 years. However took a a UA today. It's been exactly 3 and a half days since my last lortab. Am I ok? I am pretty full-figured but not huge and I never drink water. Totally spazzed. Please help. I don't want to ruin my future...
