for chronic pain, 8mg of dilaudid with 10 mg of methadone, taken orally, should do the trick for 12 hrs . no withdrawl to speak of. these are not recreational drugs. ## I have serious R.A with fibermalga, disks diease. I have been going to a methadone clinic for 7 years i have m\s and it works great for my pain but its 88 miles from my house and the drive is becoming too much. Im looking for a doctor that will percribe me methadone for my pain in the state or maine. Or a pain clinuc that is methadone friendly. ## Isnt there a Clinic on Brighton Ave in Portland? I took 50mg of methadone today. How long do I have to wait to take suboxone? ## Wait about one to two days so it works and doesn't make u have bad withdrawals. My aunt just received these pills from pharmacy and she wanted to know all side effects before taking medication. ## AN 627 does not contain Methadone or any other narcotic. It contains 50mgs of Tramadol, a centrally acting analgesic. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. class work -however i am having trouble finding this ## VA had me on methadone for over 15 years. ..volunteered for methadone cessation with the VA because I kept going into DTs because USPS/UPS kept delaying my meds. Sometimes it would take a week to get my RX. ....then, when I dropped below 25mg, the cramps diarrhea and associated pain was causing me to be suicidal. I can't get a doctor's referral because VA doctors don't work with "outside" doctors. Of course, they won't allow me to withdraw from the program now. My God, I wish I were dead. I've been trying to get off of opana and today makes day 12 for me. I've been taking zubsolv 5.7 and can no longer get any. My last dose was a half yesterday. Can I take methadone for pain today? Hey, I've been taking a quarter of a suboxone daily for the past year and haven't been able to get my hands on any so I've come across a few 10mgs of methadone; it's not the wafers but the pill. This is to be dissolved in my mouth, correct? Also i know suboxone and methadone are totally different but i wonder if i took 5mg if it would work? I don't want a high, just not to be sick and feel normal. ## Case, If you don't want to feel "high", just "feel normal", then why take anything? Your question makes no sense. I've been in several car accidents,the last one was 5 years ago I broke both ankles have screws i& plate in left ankle & the right one they had to piece it together, I cant take hurting like this & methadone is the pain meds. Hi. I go to the methadone clinic and have for about 2 years. I haven't done anything but my methadone in about a year and a half. One of my urine tests came up positive for opiates. They did a second test of the same sample and it showed positive for morphine. I haven't done morphine in about 10 years. Why is my urine test showing a false positive for opiates (morphine) when all I've taken is my methadone? Because of this I lost my phase that I've worked almost 2 years to get where I am! I'm very frustrated. They allowed me to take a hair follicle test at my own expense and I'm still waiting for the results. I just took a 5 panel drug test and I take methadone daily. IT DOES NOT SHOW UP. I PASSED THE DRUG TEST FLYING COLORS. SO DON'T BE SCARED. ## Was it a hair follicle test? I am on 58 mg of Methadone and I have been on it for a year. It does not help with pain for me, and I did this on my own to see if it would help me. I was taking 4 mg of Hydromorphone for pain before. Now I want off the Methadone but my doctor is telling me I have to go to a non opioid pain clinic for pain. What is that??? I have been on maintenance at a Northern California Methadone Clinic for 6 years. I stopped using all on the day I walked in. Now I come in 1x per week and get 6 take homes. I have gotten in trouble for not being able to pee when asked a few times over the years and that is my only Failed Tests). My psych meds make me dehydrated and Clinic has a Doctors Note about that. Are NSAID's and methadone different or the same thing? I don't understand the difference? Plz advise. ## Methadone is an opiate that is used to treat severe pain or drug addiction, with NSAIDs are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories that are used to treat pain, fever, swelling, according to the NIH. I live in riverside county Ca. 92553. I recieve a rx from my pain dr. for the past 2yrs. Why won't no pharmacy fill my rx.They can call his office n his staff he will verify it.All the pharmacies keep saying it's on back order, they don't carry it,n no one will order it for me. I have been at a clinic for 3 years now, got along with everyone never any problems kept to myself did what I had to do. Anytime I called this girl out in our group she felt like I was attacking her, the type of girl who's life was always coming to the end tried helping her. Couple weeks later we had a little argument outside, no biggie. She filed a grievance, lying saying I put my hands on her and selling my meds. they never listened to my side and are throwing me out 30 day taper. I'm a good ole country boy, was raised you never touch a woman or you'll be answering to the lord and my wife was standing there as well. she's conflict of interest so she can't be my witness. no where else takes medicaid. I would like detail information on this please. ## Hello, Christy! How are you? Methadone is actually notorious for causing withdrawals, regardless of how long it's been taken. The FDA lists the withdrawal symptoms as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, fever, chills, rebound pain and anxiety. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Why would you want to know?? Unless you have been stealing meds that weren't yours. I hear you are notorious for that.
