My mom is 66. She's been on 20 MG of methadone for 3 yrs for degenerative disc disease, she's also been in a bad car wreck AND hit by a truck while walking across the street (10 yrs ago) so she's got many sources of pain. Her doctor isn't comfortable raising her dosage because of the rigid methadone rules (his words). We are now seeking a new doctor who can help her. We are in Dorchester MA. ## I lost my Doctor she disappeared and I need someone to help me with my methadone treatment. Where can I go? Please help. My doctor had me on percoset 10/325 4 times a day. That was for over a year. Well I found out I was pregnant and the doctors promised me it was ok for me to take them. Well I started not taking as many cause I wanted to stop for my baby. I started getting sick and at first had no clue why. The doctor told me I was going thru withdrawel and I couldn't stop taking the meds while I was pregnant cause it could hurt me and the baby. Long story short they recommended me start methadone while I was pregnant. Well my baby was five weeks early they said more than likely it had nothing to do with the methadone. He was fine at first. There is a Methadone Clinic in Indiana that charges $16 per day, charges for drug panels, late charges if you come 2 minutes past your scheduled time, missed sessions, doctor visits, and they change the rules at will. If you complain they threaten to kick you out. If you can't pay the late fee, missed appt. fee, or any of the other charges they impose on their patients then you don't get your dose. They are rude, and act like they are doing you a favor not like you are paying their salary. Aren't there any regulations in Indiana for imposed charges, and rule changes without notice?

I am 28 and I have failed spinal fusion. I have screws and rods in my spine. It hurts!! I was stable on 80mg of Methadone and 40 of Percocet a day for years.I lost my dr and all the others I've tried don't do meds! I've had so many injections in my spine! They don't work, and that's all the Dr's want to do. I can't live this way...I wish I was dead

Hi I am going to be moving from Louisiana to Ohio an need to know if they normally keep you at the phase you are or make you start over when you transfer? I have guest doses at this clinic a number of times an they are one of the few that will give me my 2 weeks worth an not make me come daily. So I was just wondering if anyone may have had any exsperiance with transfering clinics in diff. States.

For past 15 yrs, Chronic Pancreatitis sufferer! Had moved here 4 yrs ago w records & admissions in hand. Ideal pt. I am, never probs, nor "cut-off"EVER!!! Was seeing pm dr 4 almost the entire 4 yrs now. In last few months family member stole script ( i reported to pm dr immediately) was not in position to call pd on member due to promise of rehab for prob! The month my script was stolen, I relied on old script of methadone for treatment & tested + 4 this breaching contract according to this "new" pm dr in same practice! Completely unfair in my opinion as everyone goes back to old scripts in emergency situation! Was even admitted 3 months in a row due to attacks!!! N e ideas as to another pm solution for me? I can't b off meds 100% or get very ill & adnitted

Hi. I have been on the Methadone Clinic for about 3 years and have been slowly decreasing my dose and doing very well. I am down to 60mgs daily and had 6 take home doses. I started having really bad pain in my neck and shoulders so stopped going down, and after literally harrassing my doctor for 2 months and becoming very swollen in my whole chest, face and neck I have been diagnosed with lung cancer which is causing SVC Syndrome. I am in constant pain, rarely sleep and only sitting up. Methadone is not helping the pain at all. My doctor gave me 5 mg valiums. Which now takes away one of my take home doses so I now have to go 2x per week to the clinic. I am mostly bedridden atm. Has anyone had any experience with this? This is BRAND new. I've been on methadone for 260 days. I got up to 90. I then tapered down 2 a day until I got to 60. Then went down 5 every Monday. I took 20 on monday at 6am and haven't had anything since. It's now thursday. My withdraws were s****y but now are getting a bit better NOT worse. Can I start my suboxone yet? It's been over 72 hours since my last methadone dose. I have a white with a tint if blue pill one said has a funky looking M almost like bubble letters and other side vertical line with two lines not full length of pill horizontally.... I was told it was a 2 mg methadone pill . But I can't find pictures or anything on the internet about them.

I need to travel to Washington state from California next month because my sister has cancer and I will be providing her care for 2 months. I will need to fill my prescriptions for Methadone 5mg and Percocet 5mg. I have a hair follicle test that I have to take by Jan 10th and today is Dec 28th. On Oct. 21st and 27th I had a urine test that came back positive for benzo and oxy which I had only done once that month but because they tested me so close in time frame it was still in my system but showed how the levels had dropped. I am prescribed methadone which I take daily. I'm scared that even though it was almost 90 days ago but not quite and even though it was only one time that those two drugs will show up on my hair test. I was going to a private pain mgmnt who gave me 10mg twice daily. I switched to VA as the injury was military related and they switched me to 5mg methadone 3 times daily. I've only been with VA for three months now and got a phone call telling me they were dropping me because Morphine has shown up on all three urine tests? How is that possible? I swear I haven't taken anything other than the Methadone as prescribed!!!! Any reason Methadone would show up as Morphine? I paid for private urine and blood specifically tested for Morphine. Blood came back 100% negative but Urine came back with slight trace of Morphine?? No way, I have not been taking Morphine!! Any ideas or explanations?! Thanks.

Please answer my question Asap. I took a drug screen and it came back with my Adivant, Vyvanse, which i have prescription for. I also take Suboxone, 2mg strips a day, the suboxone did not show up but methadone did. I have not taken methadone for almost 2 months. Here is what medications i had taken. As to a replacement for the Motrin, you may be able to take a steroid, but only your doctor can decide what's safe for you. How long ago did you have the surgery? What other medications are you taking?
