on a skin sweat patch test if used 4 days earlier and 3 days, 10 mgs per day, also am using daily subutex, xanax and soma, I know xanax will show but will the old methadone and the twice daily subutex, i have patch on ## These sweat patch tests only work for the detection of the substances that are actively being taken, while the patch is being worn. They can be used to detect Methadone, that is what they were originally designed to test for, but only if it has been taken while wearing the patch. The Buprenorphine in the Subutex can be detected, but it is not included in standard testing, so they would have to be specifically testing for it. Hi all, I am asking this for a friend. He took 15 mg of methadone, the kind in juice on thursday evening at 9:00 pm and he got called in for a urine test monday at 10:30 am (98.5 hours). He takes 200 mg of morphine daily (he has a legit prescription for morphine not methadone) and that is the first time he ever drank methadone. He said the only effect it had was slept ok thursday night and friday morning he was dope sick until he got his morphine refilled friday morning. He is 145 pounds so very skinny. The test is lab gc/ms and they use a 100 ng/ml (methadone metabolite eddp) screening cut off for methadone. I am on 7 of going cold turkey after being on 55mg for 3 years. This is the worst thing I have ever been through and to make things worse I'm going through a break up.. Looking for a physician that prescribes methadone for pain. I'm not an addict but have been on norco for over 15 years and that didn't work anymore. I just want a normal life. I've had total knee replacement and a neck fusion and in constant pain. I have tried methadone once and that was the first time in years i wasn't in pain. I'm on 35mg of methadone at a clinic, I was on 175mg and got down to 10mg and it was terrible!! I went very slow, but I went back up. Does anyone have any advice on how to get off this crap?? I was on 110 then tapered down to 24. At that point, I couldn't take the withdrawals. I ended up going on suboxone. Thank God I felt better. As far as your situation, it takes awhile to stop withdrawing from methadone. It has a half life and lasts longer. U r probably still feeling some withdrawals. Sounds like it 2 me. Good afternoon. I am a 37 y/o female who suffers from chronic pain from poly/peripheral neuropathy. My pain varies from day to day. If I don't have my daily dose of Medicine, I'm in a very bad way. How long do narcotics remain in the body after stopping use? My husband has been on methadone and oxycodone for years, in large quantities. He has been off them for a few weeks but he has a strong odor on his arms. We thought it might be the drugs coming out of his tissue.

After my boyfriend went to detox off of a 5 year use of methadone. He first tried to quit cold turkey went into horrible withdrawal and almost went back to get a fix of H to kill the withdrawals. Went to detox for 7 days and they tapered him off methadone. Now that he is out seems detached and stand offish. What are the effects of coming off methadone? Will Methadone show up in a regular blood draw at the. Doctors office? ## If you are referring to a just a regular test, where they doctor looks for signs of infection, checks your vitamin and electrolyte levels and etc. then no. They would have to specifically order the type of test that checks for controlled substances. However, Methadone is a very dangerous medication, so you shouldn't be taking it, without your doctor's approval and supervision. Hello, okay long story short.. I was taking heroin for about 6 years then got pregnant and was put on methadone in jail. I later continued methadone at a rehab facility for a year and remained on methadone for about 16 months. Then, I started decreasing on my methadone from my max dose when I was pregnant at 80 milligrams and got down to 55 milligrams on a taper. Then, the clinic told me that I could no longer go down 10 milligrams and that my taper would have to be five milligrams a month. I got frustrated and realized that I was going to be on methadone for another year, hated it and then had the bright idea to try to detox myself by taking heroin for the last 3 weeks to a month and now I am eight days into withdrawal doing it completely cold turkey with only kratom and ibuprofen pm. ...

my husband has always had a little shaking hands. but now that he is on these 2 new meds he is shaking so badly he has a hard time writing anything and his hands jerk so badly it is not hidable. He is also on methadone, lisinopril, effexxor, and pantoprazole. ## Divalproex can cause that as a side effect, according to the FDA, along with nausea, mood changes, weight gain, and memory loss.
