I am on Methadone and they gave me Invokana for my diabetes. Ever since I took it my head burns, my hands and feet are tingling, burn & hurt so bad that my hand is red. I feel like I'm dying slowly. Could it be not working together? They think I got MS, but I said I wasn't like this until the Invokana was introduced. ## Invokana is known to have an increased risk causing amputations, the FDA has listed a prominent warning about it, is is also stated on the commercials, and drug information sheets. I need help from the ER with maybe some lortab cough syrup due to being extremely sick with bronchitis but I'm afraid they'll drug test me and see I'm on methadone. I know honesty is the best policy, but I'm in agony and really need something more from ER so can u tell me if the methadone will show up? And if so will it show up as morphine? I have tried being honest with ER about methadone before & they are very rude with no help! ## Doctor's do not usually prescribe methadone for chronic pain anymore, so it is understandable the ER would be suspicious & especially if you are asking for a specific cough syrup. Hi i take methadone for 3yrs now i take 80mgs a day. But Tuesday the 6th i took 70mgs and wensday on the 7th k took none and today Thursday i took maybe 40mgs and i don't get my next dose of 80mgs until Tomorrow do u think I'm be withdrawing soon i already starting to feel sick ## Hello I have been taking Methadone through a clinic for over 5years. I've been going to the methadone clinic for 3 months. My dosage is 60mg daily. I'm working part-time and can't afford it anymore. I've read online about Kratom supplements. Is there a way to stop methadone and combat the withdrawals using Kratom? How would the process work? i am 8 months pregnant and have been in methadone treatment for almost 5 years. My recent urine screens have been coming back negative for methadone and i am very vigilant in taking my meds as prescribed at the same time each day. I'm looking for a doc that will prescribe methadone. I recently get a prescription for 70mg a day and when I went to get my last refill he told me I need to find a new doctor that he won't be able to prescribe me anymore because they are changing the law and for him to prescribe for pain management he had to be a PAIN specialist and then he would lose his mal practice so I'm in a huge bind. He's been prescribing me for almost 7 months and he said he would write me till the end of the year and that's it. Idk if he's lying or what the deal is. My husband has taken subs on his own in the past and quit oxycodone and did fine. this time around he was taking about 40mg methadone a day. He waited about 50 hrs before starting the bupe. He at first took a quarter and then a half and couldnt really tell a difference so we figured since it wasnt worse he must not be getting perciptated withdrawals. So this evening he has been feeling really awful but it isnt helping him to take bupe .He has done about 2 throughout the day. He is very restless and miserbal he cant sleep he is in a lot of withdrawal. My question is if it was from preciptated withdrawals wouldnt this have happened earlier in the day when he first started to take the bupe. I was just started on 5 milligram Methadone, and I'm already on 30 mg oxycodone three times a day, after losing my leg. But I just received my refill and there's a deep score in the pills. I was told this is a 12-hour pill. So my question is whether this is the wrong pill because I thought that any 12-hour extended bill would not be scored and able to be broken or I would overdose or get too much at once? I've been in my clinic 5 years with no problems, then all of a sudden my insurance is cut off and they never told me and I got a lil loud n upset so they kicked me out. Hi, I enrolled into the methadone clinic about 4 months ago, due to the dependence I had on opiates. since starting the program my life has done a complete 180.Instead of being depressed, unstable and sad my life has become much more manageable. Nothing is perfect , but I've been clean for 4 months and I am NEVER GO BACK TO MY OLD WAYS. About a week ago I had a UA and it came back positive for benzos , I am we'll aware of what these are , but have not taken Any.I'm on Zoloft , and sertraline. I am currently at 95mg of Methodone Been on Methodone Now For 5 Years and I Want OFF IM MISERABLE ??.... i recently took a urine test for a custody hearing and came up positive for oxycodone. i am taking 10mg methadone tablets 4x's a day for spinal issues. can the methadone come up positive for oxycodone in a drug test that probation officials give? i heard him say that he seen the methadone in my urine but i thought it had to be tested using a specific test. is it possible to get a false positive because of my methadone? ## Yes it will show up positive ## Methadone will show up on a drug test, but it WON'T show up as oxycodone. I've read a lot of posts where replies to the weight gain question are always answered with its because your healthier and can afford to eat well, your not missing meals etc etc.Opiates i.e Heroin stop the body from absorbing sugars therefor you lose weight on top of the fact you cant afford to eat well. Methadone however is altered by the enzymes in your Liver so that your body can process it or absorb it and for it to stay in your body for a good amount of hours its absorbed in the same way as fat. Unfortunately for you that means the fat doesn't get broken down in the same way as when your not taking Methadone. That's the best way I can put it in layman's terms. I am afraid that my test will show up positive for an opiate all I have in my system is methadone but I forgot to tell my probation officer will it show up positive for opiates or will the methadone I'm not show up ## Methadone and opiates come up as two different readings so if all u had is methadone that is all that will show ## Methadone will not show up on a 5 panel drug test. I've had muscle and nerve pain with intestinal spasms since my last (3rd) peritonitis in 93. This last one caused by a surgical mistake. Took 12 yrs to recover only to then be misdiagnosed and given a very high dose of radioactive iodine which has put me into a slow steady decline and no Dr can help the myriad problems caused by that poison. I since learned it is illegal in all of Europe and Japan and considered to be "barbaric, inhumane and outdated". I've been on 30 mg daily methadone for 8 yrs now. When one first goes on methadone or changes Dr's, what are they looking for in the blood test? Are they testing for heroin/opiates/methadone or all of them? Isn't that what the urine test is for? Just curious.
