I have a severe allergy that I have had for a year and a half now. I break out all over in the itchiest pimple like sores. They either have no liquid in them or sometimes a small amount of clear fluid. No puss. It has gotten worse over the past year and a half to where I now get huge hives and random swelling that is very painful. sometimes a foot or a hand but it's not like normal edema swelling, this is painful and a tighter swelling, definitely part of the reaction. I have no health insurance so after looking everywhere possible i cannot find anywhere to get the extremely expensive tests I would need to pin point the cause of this. my hands will get hot and then itch like crazy, my extremely thick hair has thinned to the point in the front where If something doesn't happen so...

I WAS STOPPED BY THE POLICE,AND THEY FOUND SOME DAMP METHADONE WHICH I HAVE A SCRIPT FOR,WHEN THEY TESTED IT ON THE SPOT WITH A PINK WET NAPKIN WHICH WAS A COCAINE TEST,IT TURNED BLUE WHICH THE DIRECTIONS ON THE WET NAP STATED IT WAS POSITIVE FOR COCAINE,HOW COULD THIS BE? ## Same thing happened to me!? Did u get arrested as well? ## I was on 120mgs of Methodone and my urine tests kept showing that I was positive for Cocaine! Also I have talked to other people who were on Methodone and their tests kept show up positive for Cocaine too! And the last thing is I don't touch Cocaine, never liked the feeling of it!

i have been on suboxone for 2 and half yrs i have myself down from 3 8mg tabs to 3 quarters a day..i have to switch to methadone because it is cheaper my doctor said i could start the methadone now and there should not be any withdrawls..i guess i am still a little afraid of the switch anyone else done this and was you ok any advice would be very helpful honest answer please and i take the medication for a chronic back injury..thanks ## There shouldn't be any withdrawals, if you are given the correct dose of Methadone to start. I am new to the Philly area... Actually live in Delaware County but less than 5 miles from SW Philly... I am trying to find a doctor who is liberal because I am only 23 years old... I had a doctor where I used to live but since I moved here I cannot get in touch with him... I met a lot of people out here with scripts and they say their doctors are very liberal... I am planning to walk off my clinic in a few days and im not to sure what my best options is. I was thinking of taking my last dose of 40mgs sundays at 7am and then narcan myself Monday am and start suboxone for a few days on Tuesday. ive tried to walk off before and I can never get past the 72 hr point to start suboxone, but also ive always been on an extremely high dose of 185-230mgs but this past year I have tapered off slowly. I currently take 70mgs of liquid Methadone once a day, but I used to take two 10mg tablets of Methadone twice a day. Since I have been taking the liquid I have went from 40mg a day to 100mg a day in just over three months, however I have decreased my dose to 70mg over the past few months because I was worried to be at such a high dose so fast. When I was taking the tablets I stayed at a total of 40mg in a day comfortably for six months, until I found a place in town that would keep me on methadone because I was traveling out of town just to pick up that prescription. The place I go to now prefers prescribing liquid and only one large dose every 24hrs, I don't think the liquid is as effective as the tablets and I also don't feel that one dose last 24hrs, that is the reason my dos...

My new PM doc pushed methadone 10mg x 3 daily on me after being on oxy 20 mgms 2 yrs for back issues. Im having problems, every bone in my body is killing me!! its terrible, the only relief i get is taking the percocet for break thru pain. I have an appt tomorrow again. Also, i now have extremely high blood pressure, could this be causing it?. He pushes ONLY methadone, i cant understand why... he swears its the best pain reliever around yet, im not doing too great on it. any ideas why? I was on methadone for six years, it has been 19 days sent I have stopped taking my 95 mg a day. I have never felt so sick. I can not walk without it feeling so bad. I hope to be better someday. I want to know how long. ## That is a rather high dosage to stop cold turkey. Methadone is usually tapered, to try to minimize the withdrawal effects. They can be very bad, which is why many people end up on a lifetime maintenance dose and never entirely get off the drug. Hi there I have been on methadone for just iver 1 year my max dose was 95mg. Due to weight gain I wanted to switch to suboxone. I decided to do it fast rather than slow i went down 10mg a week until yesterday i was down 45. So the dr gave me 35 yesterday. 35 for today and tomorrow. Then sun mon tues wed i will have nothing. On thursday i will start the suboxone. Any help hints tips...what to ezpect detoxing any jnfo at all would be so greatly appreciated ## It pains me to read these. I've been at my methadone clinic for two-and-a-half years in New York and I've heard that out west they have different colors such as orange, green, even blue, but where I'm at it's red with water. The next dose tends to get lighter in red. ## In a Treatment Center, where a yellow liquid called methodose is given. Is that methodose or methodone. Can liquid methodone be yeklow? ## Bee, After doing some research I found that methadone comes in a variety of colors, including orange, green, blue, red, white, brown. The difference between these is the formula of inactive ingredients that they use. I hope this helps.

I just started going to the methadone clinic about 4 weeks ago. I used to be a very heavy drug user, Heroin and pills were my life. When I took my initial drug test at the clinic I asked them if my marijuana levels were really high, and they told me they don't test for marijuana. I live in Texas. Does anyone know what kind of drug test they are using and exactly what they test for? I thought on all standard drug tests, they test for THC. I have been taking Methadone for two years, but i want to get off of this medication and start taking Suboxone. Can I take Suboxone a day after I took my methadone? If not, can I take pain killers to help with the methadone withdraws until I start taking the suboxone? ## No, in order to start Suboxone, whether for drug addiction, or for pain, you have to be in full active withdrawal from all other narcotics. Suboxone contains the active ingredients Buprenorphine and Naloxone. The Naloxone helps neutralize other opiates to prevent their abuse, when someone is using it for addiction treatment. If you take it too close to the time period you are taking other narcotic analgesics, it can throw you into dangerous withdrawals. live in seminole county, Florida. I am on medicaid and want to know if there is a clinic or doctor that will accept medicaid for methadone maintenance. ## I really wish I could help, but I haven't been able to find any that are directly listed in that area, however, I will admit, I am not familiar with Florida, so there could be some places that I am missing. Have you tried asking your doctor or perhaps calling the Medicaid office to see if they have a place they can recommend? HELP! 4 months ago I stopped, [ cold turkey] all my oxycodone and 25 days ago stopped my methadone as well.3 weeks ago I went on Suboxone.
