My husband and I just moved to Valrico, FL and I'm looking for a doctor that would help with his methadone maintaince. My husband is taking 150mg and has to go all the way to tampa everyday. the problem is he is starting to work early mornings and by the time he gets a ride and comes back he is barley making it to work on time(if traffic is good). He wants the job but he isn't going to be able to maintain the job especially when he has to go out of town for several days at a time soon.he's taking the methadone due to a neck fracture from serveral years ago so he isn't a "junkie" looking for a new fix. I live in Northern VA & was recently (& unfairly) discharged from my Dr. of over 4 yrs. I am nearly out of meds & NEED to find a new Dr. asap! I suffer from severe chronic pain with all verified documentation. I have been on a couple of pain clinics that treated my chronic pain with prescribed methadone and oxycodone for breakthrough pain and had great success. then after being on these pain clinics for a lengthy period of time with ni incidents. I'm on Methadone Maintenance. Sometimes I get constipation, last month I had to go to the ER it was that bad. I had my doctor appointment today and told him. He knows I'm a Methadone patient and he gave me samples of Amitza. When I looked up the drug it said something about it hasn't been proven to work when the opioid is Methadone. I had took my 70mg methadone 2 days ago literry over 48 hours ago. Im not sure but can i take half zubsolv tonight? I am in so much pain and not able to dose till tomorrow morning. I have been taking Methadone for over a year at a clinic to get off of some of the pain medications prescribed to me, one of them Xanax (been taking seven years or more) for severe anxiety and PTSD. My doctor that was prescribing my Xanax office closed. Now wondering what to do because I am very close to running out of my benzo and can not seem to find another doctor. I live in Myrtle beach, SC and I am in desperate need of a doctor who writes for methadone. My finance has been attending a methadone clinic for about a month now. He is up to 95 ml of liquid methadone. This morning he missed his dosage and in fear of getting withdrawal he took a subutex. have taken 4 10 mg of methadone pills and want to know when i can start taking subutext. b4 that taking 80 mg of oxy's off and on for 3 mo hear you can get very sick with subboxone if taken too soon but with subutext it is different? hear you can take as soon as you go into withdrawl ## That is correct, Suboxone contains Buprenorphine and Naloxone, which counterats opiates and can make you go into withdrawals, the Subutex does not. That said, it is actually the Suboxone that you are supposed to wait until you are in withdrawals to take, so it doesn't cause you to go into them by neutralizing the other opiates you have taken can cause a bad reaction. I do not understand what is happening as I have not done anything illegal and I was supposed to get off probation July 1st. Here's what happened on June 9th, I went in to take a urine drug test. I had my probation meeting on June 13th, and she said she still not got the results back yet but she went on to say this will be my last meeting and I should still get off July 1st if everything comes back normal. I was happy with that because I was confident and knew that I would not fail for anything because I have not done anything. I got a call from my probation officer on June 27th she told me that I tested positive for opiates and that I need to go pay the $25 to get it retested. How long dose it take for methadone to go undetected if you're taking a drug test in a week ## They say 3 days but to be safe I would give it between 4-6 days to be 100% sure. ## Sir or madam: It depends on how long you have been taking the med and the strength. All narcotics build up and store in fat and even grows into your hair. One strand and they can measure how long you have been using it. It could take three months as everyone is different. I've been in a methadone clinic for almost 2 years now.... I've done everything like I've supposed to... NEVER failed a drug panel.... Went to all of my groups and this is the first time this has EVER happened to me!! My clinic isn't open on Sundays so they give us a take home bottle on Saturday and then we turn in the empty bottle on Monday... Well I went to the fair today and now I can't find my bottle!!
