I'm in Mexico right now and I'm a regular Heroin user. So I was looking for some Oxy-Cotin but it seems that since october 2012 they are banned from farmacy over here. So I took a prescription for 200$ to be able to get those Lertus CD and men I've been screwed. This dont work at all. I took 2 tabs, after I took 4, and now I just took 8 and nothing at all. My normal prescription is 100mg of methadone and let me tell you it is 3 times stronger than 8 tabs of those Lertus s***. So dont waste your money on that stuff and especially on a doctor to get the prescription. Better slam your head with a hammer. No really it's plain s***. I have taken opiates lately, and as an addict it is hard not to go for whatever you can get your hands on to make the withdrawals go away. I had a setback and took 150 mg vyvanse, and of course got the energy I was wanting, but now I can not get to sleep. When I lay down I am wide awake, which I'm assuming is from the vyvanse, but I can feel my withdrawal symptoms from the opiates. I have 10 mg of methadone to help me but I'm afraid to take it with the vyvanse. Can I take them together? Will it take away my withdrawal symptoms will either one cancel the other out? I need a dr. that does pain management. I am on methadone and want to come off and go on another pain killer. I have been on methadone for about 10 yrs. I hate how people treat you, the stigma, but the workers and so called nurses should treat you with some level of respect and not a junkie. I have been in recovery for years and I am so sick of being treated like someone who is the one trying to get away with certain behaviors because I am on methadone. Methadone maintenance really worked well for me, in 27 years no relapses, turned my life around! Now I'm ready to put it all behind me, and methadone is so hyper controlled now. Had my last methadone dose of 27mg yesterday at 8:30am, plan to switch to subutex tomorrow. SO scared of withdrawal of any kind. I am detoxing off of methadone and ive talked with my counselor and since i have pain issues that im going to have to address because of me detoxing off of the methadone,she(counselor) told me to check out some pain clinics were they can monitor my med use,but i would really like to be sble to find a pain clinic that would maybe give me 10-20mg of methadone in pill form just for the pain instead of going back on any kind of pain medication. I am a 55 year old man, and I have been going to a Pain Management facility for lower back pain and now even chronic Osteoarthritic shoulder pain, and have been taking 60mg of Methadone every day (10mg tablets x 2 x 3 times a day -- morning, noon & night) for the past three years. Although I've been doing well on that regimen, perhaps out of more of a psychological concern over the known "qt" (heart) effects of the drug (rather than any "real" ones), I decided to ask my doctor if I could try Opana ER (20mg every 12 hours), which I had taken once before, for a short time, at another Pain Management facility, with great success. I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. However, all opiates, inducing those used to treat addiction can cause constipation as a side effect.
