I'm coming off of years of benzodiazepine abuse. My methadone doesn't even affect me now. I shake as if I'm an alcoholic. I have been feeling isolated and hopeless. ## Unfortunately, since Methadone is an opioid, it doesn't always help with the withdrawals from Benzodiazepines. I am very sorry that you're miserable. How are you coming off of the Benzodiazepines? Are you tapering slowly? Coming off too fast creates the risk of your experiencing seizures, anxiety, and depression, which would be dangerous, so it is very important to taper slowly, under medical supervision.

However if I can add any validation to that, E 131 is in fact listed as Methadone (10mg), manufactured by Sandoz. I don't have a photograph to show you, but I believe the pill's National Drug Code (66689-0810) should suffice as another point of reference. Can you break the methadone 10mg into half?? ## Dear Samantha, yes, u can break them in half. It might b easier 2 get a pill cutter. They work great. U can get them at cvs or pretty much any pharmacy. They r sold over the counter. ## Yes as far as I know, personally have broken in half over ten years. Have chronic pain and when I was not in as much pain I often only took half (5 mg.). Contact your pharmacist first, if you call your Dr. they might decrease dose, feeling you don't need as much, I am assuming you take for pain relief. If so may days you will need dose prescribed. I was taking 10mg norco 6× a day for 7 years and wanted off so my sister talked me in to getting on methadone. I've gone for 3 days and been getting 20mg a day but I don't like how it makes me feel. I feel really high on it and feel like I'm gonna pass out. So I don't want to go any more my question is will I have withdrawal from that small amount that I've been on? I have a unique situation. I am a recovering addict with severe chronic pain. I have really bad scoliosis that's in my neck and back and been in several really bad car wrecks. Lets just say I'm a tree magnet when riding with other people. I have been on suboxone and subutex for the last 2 years. Before then I was going to the methadone clinic on and off for a few years but I couldn't pay for it anymore so I had to stop going. I stopped taking methadone 4 days ago; 40mg a day, and started taking roxicodone 30mg a day. I haven't had any withdrawals yet. Will I be ok? I was taking methadone from a neck injury, now I need another surgery on my neck and can't have any methadone in my system. When will it be out of my blood? I successfully weaned myself off of a 8 year opioid addiction. The last drug I was on was Methadone 30mg a day for about a year but I took every medication for pain at one point or another. Overdosing 3 in the process. I had major spine surgery in October 2016 to straighten my spine and fused 6 discs. I went from 30 mg a day to 10mg very fast, stayed there a month or so then I went to 5mg/day. Stayed there for a few weeks and went to 2.5mg (My PM Dr. gave me a prescription for 5mg tabs that are scored). A few weeks later I was down to 1.25mg. I did that for 2 weeks then I quit one night. No withdrawals! I can feel every screw in my back but I don't care because I am free of addiction.

my mom takes 36ml of liquid methadone 3 times a day and 7ml of liquid morphine every hour for cancer. I want her to get off the drugs and into some sort of treatment for her cancer. I just started taking methadone a couple days ago for pain because I was in a pain clinic taking Oxycodone (perks) and Oxycontin (extended release perks) both at 10mg 3x a day but I would take more than prescribed because it didnt help my pain at that amount alone. Then I found out i am pregnant and those meds are category B in the FDA database so its safer to take them while pregnant but I missed one appointment at the pain center that i didnt even know about they made an appointment for me without seeing if i could make it and didnt notify me prior to the appointment day so of course i missed it. I started taking methadone in 2004 and kept on it until sep 2007. during that time I went from 125 pounds to 200 pounds!! After quit taking it I started loosing weight and after 3 months I was down to 150 pounds and two more months I was able to fit into 30" waist jeans again, by 2009 I was wearing 28" waist jeans. I has another car accident and started taking methadone again and it has greatly improved my quality of life! ! With out it I have chronic pain ! The only set back from taking it is I've gained almost all the weight back!! Grrrrr!! I currently have a doctor and he's taken 2 of my methadone away. I've been going to him 3 yrs. I've never been upted any never asked for more never failed a drug panel n have followed t rules.I'm not t only one he's done this too.I have chronic pain n I have to have my meds to work n take care if my kids.any advice? After 15 years I was kicked off 200 mgs of methadone daily because the pain doc wasn't "comfortable" with it all of a sudden, but he is perfectly willing to let me drop dead suffering like a dog in front of my family at age 60, two hip replacements and severe osteoporosis. Sure enough the first day I went into a massive withdrawal and wound up with a dislocated hip on top of it at the ER. I wrote a complaint to the NY health dept and got a nasty letter saying the doctor can do whatever he wants as long as he provides emergency care. I’ve been on methadone for over 20 years. I do not take anything else except what my Dr gives me for high BP and trazodone for sleep. Why am I so weak and tired all the time? I have gained about 40 unwanted pounds from methadone liquid weight gain! I'm absolutely miserable!! I just bout Lipozene but I'm so scared to take it because I'm A.-Scared of causing withdrawals. And be scared it won't work for crap! I'm so so so discouraged with this weight gain. And of course they always fails to mention this as one of the main side effects to this crap! I have been on hydrocodone 30mg for about 3 years and started small but is now up to 4 a day just to feel fine and it has got very expensive and cant afford to do them anymore and it cost me my job... i literally cant get out of bed the withdrawals are so bad the back pain and restless arms and legs are the worse.. I've been taking 30mg of Methadone for a few months. I've had 3 severe back surgeries and started taking the Methadone until I could get into pain management. I had a medial nerve block yesterday and I also only took 10mgs of Methadone yesterday, too. The pain Dr. wrote me the Butrans 5mcg/hr patch. It's Buprenorphine, i suppose like Subutex without Naloxone. I'm in a lot of pain today, but scared that if I apply the patch i will go into withdrawal. I got some liquid that is suppose to be methadone. It is orange and a pretty thick consistency.
