Met Xl 25 Side Effects

Is the T MET XL 25 tablet safe for a male whose age is 20 yrs and having BP fluctuations (160/90 to 140/80) for 10-12 days with chest pain...which is diagnosed as muscular pain after doing ECG and 2D-ECHO...?

This contains the active ingredient Metoprolol, which is a beta blocker that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure.

It's as safe as any other medication, they all carry risks, but letting your blood pressure continue to rise out of control would be much more risky.

Doctor only prescribed it..But Im little bit worry as his age is 21 yrs.
