After receiving a shot at my Dr.s office a day earlier in the week I picked up my Axiron prescription and applied it. Between the shot and the the two applications I have ended up with a persistent headache. I can just keep on top of it with Ibuprofen. When I first started Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), I was put on Androgel - but i didn't like the way the alcohol dried out my skin and the fact that it took up to 5-6 hours for complete absorption before I could shower. I just had Testopel implants put in about 48 hours ago. I noticed about 36 hours after the procedure some muscle cramping in my stomach and thighs. Now 48 hours later my arms and calves are getting cramps as well. I have been on testosterone shots for a few years now and I have never experienced this with IM injections. Is the main concern with application site the issue of transfer to other surfaces/people/pets etc? I'm having to switch to Foresta from Androgel, and my preferred site for Androgel was the chest/abdomen area, which worked well (verified by blood levels). Fortesta seems to take longer to dry and is irritating my thigh a little, and if transfer is the only issue, I'd like to try it on the chest; I can manage the transfer issue. ## Hello, Brad!
