Maryland Cannot Get My Script Filled Anywhere

O.k, I'm a first time Oxycodone patient, Well not even first time because I cannot get my prescription filled. I have been everywhere. Most places just say we don't have it. One place said my insurance won't pay enough so she wanted 872.00 to fill it and them when I told her I couldn't afford it she said she would sell me a couple of them loose. I go to Walmart they tell me they don't have any. A friend with the same amount and prescription gets his right away, I go in an hour later still, we don't have any. What gets crazy is my friend comes in and say you just filled mine, and the Pharmacist still says we don't have any. the lying is worst than anything else. How can they legally lie. And Walmart isn't the only place that has lied to me. I've had my prescription for going on three weeks to no avail. Only Giants market will give me the courtesy of checking the computer. Most places turn me down in seconds flat. Is there any one that knows of a pharmacy in Maryland that could help me.

That is just sickening and breaks my heart as I've been where you are!! I don't understand HOW OR WHY these pharmacists have been so empowered as to decided to play doctor?? If a licensed doctor gives you a script for dirt it's the pharmacists job to fill it.... period!!!! I am SICK of this crap happening and it has to STOP!! I would LOVE to see one of these pharmacists refusing to fill scripts for those who need it, to hurt the way these people are hurting and be refused to have their scripts filled!! That would make my day!! Let be just tell you what I had to do. A DECENT pharmacist took the time to explain that people getting ONLY Oxycodone are most often the people abusing drugs thus what is needed is for pain mgmt pts to be given A LONG ACTING medication such as Morphine for example WITH what they call a break thru pain med such as the Oxycodone or Hydrocodone etc etc and then most pharmacists will fill your scripts. Also most people are also put on an anti inflammatory drug and or muscle relaxer as well. Believe it or not, this is what's preferred as this is actually what someone with a bad injury and pain will usually need.. NOT just some Oxy which so many really do abuse.
