Lyrica Lawsuit (Page 32)

Does anyone know if there is an ongoing lawsuit against the company who puts out Lyrica? I am a mess from it. Do we have a leg to stand on when it comes to the side effects they found out from people like us? I am a long termer. I have been taking 900 mg since 2005. Is there anyone representing us? Thank you

Hi Mary , the nightmare continues with Lyrica and feel very guilty i encouraged my son to take it ,he was such a keen and gifted student before Lyrica and now his future seems bleak and uncertain , Lyrica robbed him of his God given gift and am kicking my self ,the Lyrica information sheet wrote that Lyrica should not be given to persons under the age of 18 ,my son was just 16 but i trusted Dr Terence Lim who not only prescribed it but prescribed it at such a high dose, in hind sight i would not have gone any where near either of them .

The more people posting on these blogs the better. Maybe some will hear us and the government will investigate lyrica and whatever name it will call itself. God be with you all this season

Whoever tried to find yesterday concerning lyrica, I lost you. I would like to tell you how lyrica affected me and caused me to lose my job as a respiratory therapist @ rhmc. I was only on it a few moths. I acted like a drunk and the funny thing was I never was aware of my behavoir.

Guys. Lyrica destroyed my life in 40 days. Now I have to take 50mg a day just so I'm not clammy & cold. I have every intention of filling a class action lawsuit against Pfyzer. BUT "class action " is more than a few suing. I need you to get off your A$$ES and join me on this. I need u to write me at xxxxx@xxx {edited for privacy}. My sister is an Attorney as is a good friend both practicing in Florida. I have bulldog criminal attorney cousin practicing in CT. I need you to ACT. Write me! I will write you back. FYI , I'm in fort Lauderde. Do it; just do it. Americans don't stick together I know. But if u want to just moan and grown about these problems and how this HORRIBLE drug hurt us all then do that. But for GODS SAKES, join me on this. I have a Dr that will back us on this too! We have nothing to loose & a good attorney will take this on a contingency. That means he or she gets compensated after. Remember Pfizer is one of the wealthiest companies on this planet because of drugs. Remember cymbalta was first a anti depressant then a fribromyalgia drug? Chantix was an anti depressant & now they tell people it will make u quit smoking. Pfizer made all these. Now I want their A$$ for what their lyrica did to me. After u contact me; if u agree to join me, then u can't state anything on the web about lyrica. Why give Pfyzer any amo?

Unfortnately, this site will not publish your home address, email address, phone number, or fb address. Some one needs to invent a code in order to contact anyone about lyrica. Some have found me by reading my blog concerning lyrica. Kim did. Look at it closely. Read. My last ten to fiifteen blogs about lyrica, someone named wagaman had a blog long ago about lyrica., but this site did censure their fb site.

D boy it will be hard to contact any of us about lyrica, because of censureship. I acted like a drunk. But @ least I was not laughed @ by the rhmc in pa especialy like I was in school by a wagaman in reading.

D Boy would love to join you in a class action against that vile drug Lyrica but we are in Australia and cant find any one that will help us , if you get things going in the USA please dont forget the Victims in Australia have suffered just as much .It has been so heart wrenching to see what it did to my teenage son and know there is no achnowledgement or compensation from a corrupt system of Government , Law and medicine ..

Hi Mary , so good to see you are still fighting , keep up the good work , we are in Australia and need a global resolution against Lyrica , not just a local one , have you had any more improvement in your health since stopping Lyrica ?, did Lyrica permanently impair your memory and concentration , this is what it did to my son as well as cause a very severe anxiety disorder , good luck for 2013.

Nick, even if we could get something going in the usa and australia about the effects and dangers of lyrica, how could we all get together. We need a blog of our own to talk and exchange ideas, and maybe someone could come up with a brillant plan to sue the makers of lyrica. Unless something is done by someone who knows the right people, all we will be doing is crying on each others internet shoulders. I wish this site did not censure and edit any addresses especially about this vile poisionous drug called lyrica. But I think before any class action suits can happen is some people have to die like in the '80s when zomax killed women, who were taking it for pain, died from anaphylatic shock because they developed a severe allergy to the drug. I was one of the lucky ones, since I was a nurse, I knew what was happening to me and my family doctor was only one block from me. D boy I wish you could help us bu they censured your address, and nck I wish there was something we could do, but I think this is a lost cause uless some one famous or in the government or pulic eye, nothing will be done and there will be more victims of lyrica. :'(

Thanks for your reply Mary you are right , i am not good at setting things up on the internet but as you said we need a central location where we can unite , make the world aware of what Lyrica really does and gain recognition and compensation .i have a xxxxx@xxx {edited for privacy}, so put things together ,you are a smart one.

Possibly nick, they say they want to protect us from people who would use the addresses to send spam, viruses, worms, or trojan horses. Some of my replies about lyrica have been bloocked also. That is why I wish we had code of sorts. Some times you have to read between the lines on certain blogs if they get through about lyrica. Kim did I do not know if this will get through.

I do not know if this will get through. Sprint acts up sometimes. But {edited for privacy} had trouble with google about lyrica. And could not read between lines like in reading. I was acting like drunk in pa @ rhmc . I was a respiratory therapist who worked @ night.

I'm all for people being compensated if they've been harmed by Lyrica, but please don't try to pull it off the market. Some of us are actually doing well with it. It's the only drug that has been able to take care of my trigeminal neuralgia. And I have it BAD.

Maybe the problem is not so much the drug, but the docs prescribing it and not listening to patients when they report problems.

NO the problem is definitely the drug. It's like playing russian roulette with patients lives because there's no way to determine how each patients body will respond to the drug beforehand. There have been way to many patients lives destroyed by this drug. Therefore this drug needs and must be removed from public consumption. How can one say lets help a few at the expense of others. The other thing is that the majority of physicians refuse to believe that lyrica is the culprit in any of our situations.

all I know now is that a LOT of ambulance chasers are standing by. I need at least 40 people for a lawyer to smack Pfizer in NY with a class action. Im here but I see they yanked my email address out of my letter above. My Doctor took me off it, and when I told him I was still at 50mg a day; he seemed pissed! I told him I felt AWFUL if I just stopped! I felt like taking three 75mg tabs and shoving them down his throat! But they don't kow what to do for us! he said it's like a miracle for some people. I said "who? for the person with epilepsy?". Maybe he was having a bad day cause he is a nice guy. I told him, NO MORE SSRI's ( anti depressants ) and no more pills. I am on a anti-candita diet to cure myself of thi fibro. I met a girl at my Wife's work who even submitted her feeses and it was contaminated w yeast! She did a ANTI-CANDITA diet and has claimed to cure herself of fibro. These diet's are all over the web. I boil 2 egs in the am and have yeast free bread from whole foods. No beer, booze, smokes.... no more juices, sugar, man I can go on and on. BUT; I can have chicken. No rice though, no potatoes. EXCERSIZE helpe me guys like you would not believe. I lived in the gym before I got hurt! I burned my biceps and triceps and rode a bike real easy for 20 minutes and I felt better. NOW my arms stopped burning and the fibro set back in. Raid bug killer is the worse for me or when someone is frying food! It sets off my fibro.

I have a Dr buddy in SC that is SO smart around this BS of how the drug companies protect himself. he even told me that these pain injections in the spine are a scam. Ever hear a pain Dr say THAT? this guy is so honest. He was a GC ( General contractor ) who fell OFF a roof! He was on his belly in wicked pain for 6 months. He had no hope. His back was that bad. Then ONE doctor fixed him w an MRI finding a disc had wedged into the nerve. he was so inspired of how all these Dr's did nothing and one did something that he went to medical scholl. He is now my dr. in SC. IF you google SOBOXIN, Jed's name appears first in SC.
