Lyrica Lawsuit (Page 18) (Top voted first)

Does anyone know if there is an ongoing lawsuit against the company who puts out Lyrica? I am a mess from it. Do we have a leg to stand on when it comes to the side effects they found out from people like us? I am a long termer. I have been taking 900 mg since 2005. Is there anyone representing us? Thank you

Regarding Lyrica and Phizer labs, look them up on the internet for their address and phone number. They sent me forms to fill out concerning when, where, how much, and how long I was on Lyrica. I unfortunately, cannot fill them out because the prescribing doctor moved away and some of my medical files of the time this happened were misplaced. Also, it's been 7 years at least since I was on it while I was workiing and I don't think I can have access to those files from that time period. But most of you do have that information and if pfyzer is sending these forms out then maybe some of us can be helped. Pfyzer definitely seems to care. Maybe they themselves will pull it off the market.

Please Mary just fill out the forms to the best of your memory and ability , remember part of the problem is Lyrica induced memory loss.

Mary, Check wit your pharmacy for records from when you had them filled. Also you can get records from your insurance company. Hope this helps.

I will keep him and you also in my prayers. I right now am going through lung cancer with my husband. Its been difficult to try and think and take in what the doctors tell us. His thinking is off because of chemo brain , I find if I have to think a lot I then get more confused, hope that makes sense. I give it to God and He works it out for me.

I took Lyrica for about a year. I now have Graves' disease and drug induced Lupus. While on Lyrica I became a wreck. I kept falling, couldn't drive, wasn't hungry, gained weight, had absolutely no energy. I got off of it by myself.

While on Lyrica I had all those symptoms. And they were so NAD the hospital department I worked for asked for a blood alcohol test performed the test was negative. But I had no memory. I would leep asking for a patient's chart every 15 -30 seconds. I felt fine but my coworkers thought I was a danger to my patients. Eventually they got rid of me along with other personnel who had worked for them more than 25 years
A few years later they got rid of the rest of the older working personnel. With me , they just used the drug effect to throw me away. I still have memory problems sometimes I know what I want to say I cannot verbalize the word. I got off cold turkey rather than stay on the Lyrica in decreasing doses. I kept a phone near me in case anything was wrong. My husband was in the living room invasr I needed him. Luckily nothing happened. The only side effect I still have is memory issue. Even if we find a lawyer I'm sure that the statute of limitations has come and gone with me. I wish we could get a TV ad on television about Lyrica maybe more of is would come out of the shadows. But who has that kind of money. If a TV crew came to my house my family and I could tell them some of the facts pyfzer wants hidden. Maybe a lawyer would send it and want to help us. But I think that is way down the road that you can't see it. Good Luck to you.

My son had been on LYRICA for five years and then all of sudden the pharmacy said he had to have prescription every month because it was narcotic. He was angry all the time, threaten suicide any bodily harm to self and others. His Doctor stop prescribing it to him. He went cold turkey is much much better. He suffer from BTI. He has seizures, that it was prescribed to him. Was never informed it was narcotic. I would like to put a lawsuit against PFZER. Please keep me informed.

Mary I believe that your ideal about making a commercial about all the side effect, and suffering that we all are going thru is a great ideal. If there are others out there that feel the same I am all for it, please keep me in the loop. The commercial will more than likely be expensive however if we all pull our resources together it should no be as bad. Hope to here more from you and other's so.

Let me know cause one month on this Toxic Crap and my legs have weakened and I have lost strength in my upper body also. Let alone the suicidal thoughts too! What a joke! I should have never gone on this but Pain Drs are legal pill pushers, how else will they make their money?

Thanks for your reply Dianne , as you said the anti depressant medications don't seem to do any thing and the anxiety does not go away , once Lyrica has done its damage to the brain there seems to be no anti depressant or anxiety medication regardless of the dose given that makes any difference , Lyrica triggered Anxiety or depression is totally treatment resistant ,my son has been on just about all of them and at various doses ,any one with anxiety will know what a hell this is and know how dysfunctional it can be to daily life , this is worse than the original pain problem .,Lyrica is a Drug out of Hell.

I was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis) in 2006. I suffer with so much much pain, weakness, spasms, and so many other MS symptoms, and I have been bounced from one pain med to another over the years. Out of desperation, and being made to feel like a "pain drug seeker" in my state, I was suggested Lyrica from my Dr. She sent me to Pain Management,,might as well say,, "legalized drug pushers employed by the highest bidder"
God forbid you question the effectiveness of marijuana oil, BUT you can take legal drugs that forever change your brain chemistry. I can't understand this?! This drug has ruined my life. I thought MS ruined my life...nope...Lyrica is a drug from Hell.
It has robbed me. . I'll never be the same.
I can't BELIEVE that they are pushing this horrible drug on fibromyalgia patients and for diabetes foot pain!!! It is by FAR the worst narcotic I have ever been on in my life,,and hell to get off of. I thought I was going to go insane or die...Please don't take this drug

I took 75 of Lyrica ONE time. It was awful. Within a half hour I couldn't see, I was dizzy, couldn't walk a straight line, slurred speech, etc. After many hours most of the symptoms left. One remained and I still have it. Tremors. Tremors in both of my index fingers and 3rd fingers always simultaneously and shoulder twitches. I can no longer draw blood from patients because purposeful actions make my fingers twitch, I also have a lot of twitching going on when I drink coffee or when I am not feeling well. I have no control over them, they stop when they want. This has been going on since the first of December. ONE dose.

I take Tylenol #3 for pain. I refuse to take any of these new drugs they are putting on the market because of what Lyrica did to me it's been nine years off Lyrica and I still have memory problems . I lose things and forget where I put them. I have trouble in college remembering what the teacher said. I'm 74 years old and Alzheimer's does not run in my family.

I have been using lyrica for 3 years now and the side effects from it are driving me nuts. I have trouble thinking, speaking, concentrating, remembering things. I am very irritable moody dont have an appetite but have seemed to put weight on. I'm bloated all the time. I get the shakes sometimes as well. I have had enough of this drug. It's also affecting my eyes.
