Alternative Medicine for Losakind-H?

I am 35 years old, i am taking Losakind H daily 1 tablet since last 1 year, after taking this tablet i feel nausea, giddnes, joint pains and some time headache. I had checked my Blood Pressue and its in normal range 120-80 most of the times. Please advise is there any other alternative medicine for Blood Pressure. ## Where are you located? I'm not sure what else is available to you. Have you discussed these problems with your doctor? Losakind-H contains Losartan and Hydrochlorothiazide and it has been known to cause those types of side effects, especially if the Hydrochlorothiazide, which is a diuretic is causing some dehydration. How has your fluid intake been? You may need a dosage adjustment or a switch to a different medication.

Pill Marking Sz 210 Roud Pink Tablets Labeled Losartan 25mg

My Pharmacy switched my prescription from the green pills that are Oval shape to these pink pills that are round and are not as effective with the control of my high blood pressure. What am I taking because it is not Losartan as before. ## This tablet is listed by the U.S. FDA as containing 25mgs of Losartan, however, there can be some slight differences in generic medications. They do allow them to differ in the amount of the active ingredient by as much as plus or minus 20%, they consider this an acceptable therapeutic window and, for most people, it doesn't make a difference. I am using Losar H for the last 4 years. I have diabetes and cholesterol problems too. I am taking medicine for the diabetes & cholesterol but now my blood pressure is always normal. Losacar H and Amtas AT for High Blood Pressure

I have been taking Losacar-H along with Amtas AT for the past seven years for my blood pressure. Now that my blood pressure is well under control, is there any harm in continuing these medications? ## While there are always risks associated with using any medication long-term, the risks to you are far greater if you stop taking them and let your blood pressure get out of control. Has your doctor been running occasional blood tests to check your liver and kidney function? If those tests show no abnormalities and the medications are still working for you, then there is no need to switch or change your regimen, unless your doctor advises you to do otherwise. My Doctor Gave Me Samples Of Valsarton 160mg The Rx Losartan Pot 50mg Is There A Differance

My doctor gave me samples of Valsartan 160mg when I went to pick up the medication from Rx they gave me Losartan Pot 50mg. Is there a differance in the medications? ## Both of these are completely different medications, however they serve the same purpose to treat and manage high blood pressure. My mother takes losartan 25 mg, but her last Rx was filled with a white round pill, with a D on one side and 572 on the other side. She said it gives her a severe headache. Could this be an Rx filling error? ## The pill with a logo and the number 572 on the opposite side does contain 25mgs of Losartan, an ARB that is commonly used to help control high blood pressure. my insurance company would not pay any longer for my hypertension medicine losartan hctz 100-25 mg tabs and put me on a tab supposed to be the same but made by a company lupin. Have noticed my headaches returning which signaled my elevated blood pressure and have only been on the new pills for a week. Are they the same and work as well as my former pills? ## Yes, this tablet is supposed to contain the same ingredients, Losartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, in the same amounts. However, generic medications are allowed to differ in the active ingredients by as much as plus or minus 20% from the name brand. The U.S. FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window. Unfortunately, some people, like myself, are very sensitive to some medications and the slightest variation can cause problems....
