Looking For Lorazepam That Is Exactly Like Watson Brand (Page 2) (Top voted first)
UpdatedI've been taking Watson Pharmaceuticals Lorazepam and it worked great. Apparently, Actavis just took over Watson, and Watson no longer exists. I'm looking for another bran of Lorazepam that has the same Active & Inactive ingredients as the Watson brand, however, I can't locate the info on line and my pharmacy won't help me. Does anyone know what other manufacturer carries Lorazepam that is exactly the same as the Watson brand. Actavis and Sandoz manufacturer's Lorazepam does not work.
I feel like the Watson Lorazepam by activas doesn't work the same either even though the pill is stamped Watson
Re: Richard (# 50)
I have also taken 2mg tabs twice a day Watson Brand for more than 35 years. Today, I started to pick up my refill and it was a "no name" at Walmart. Pharmacist was very vague about it and said Watson might be available by the end of the month. I told her I would discuss with my doctor tomorrow and get a new presc. I have taken the "no names" before and they made me have bad dreams and restless sleep. I really don't know what I'll do if it is no longer available. I have anxiety and need the lorazepam to keep me "even". I checked out Watson and it appears they are manufactured in India and distributed by Activis Pharma in N. J. This is very upsetting to me.
Re: Jewels (# 2)
Yes the inactive ingredients do matter - they matter how the medicine will affect you or even work for your pain or not and also most of the inactive ingredients binders and fillers, make people sick to their stomach or cause headaches. So don't believe what the other person said that they don't make any difference and don't affect the drug WRONG. I personally know that from having gone from taking a certain brand of vicodin and now it is no longer available and every other one I have tried makes me either sick or doesn't work plain and simple. Also, because of this insane "opiod crisis" that they claim is happening, these drugs don't have any narcotic in it - it's not in our heads they are trying to make it so people with chronic pain don't get that euphoria anymore but in the process they have made the drugs pure crap.
Re: Dee (# 63)
How’s it working out for you with the Teva Lorazepam. I just finished the last of my 1 mg Watson’s and I am not looking forward to the switch. I tried the Teva USA 0.5 mg and they were awful. They did not do anything for me.
Re: Denise (# 7)
No it is not around anymore. The only one
that worked for me. Stay away from Teva lorazepam it knocks you out and palpitations.
Re: Dee (# 63)
Doesn’t work! It’s total crap!! You can tell because it dissolved INSTANTLY unlike Watson being a stronger pill made with better ingredients. My anxiety doesn’t subside taking teva than it did taking Watson. I’ve also noticed Anytime something is popular and works well.. they quit making it. There HAS to be a resin for it that only benefits Big Pharma.
I'm confused ... what brand of Lorazepam are you taking now? I don't think any Lorazepam is around anymore made by Watson.
Walgreens has Watsons. Giant Eagle had Mylan =)
I'm having the same problem. I was on Watson brand. Now I have to search for that brand.
I just got Watson from a local supermarket in Cleveland Ohio. I read that Target works with Watsons manufacturers. I'll find the link and try to post it

I ask before I give them my hard copy and explain the situation
How can you afford Ativan ... I'd take it as I'm sure it's much better than the generic Lorazepam. How much do you pay (if I can ask) ... every time I checked it was mega bucks.
JMK ... Check out Costco Mail Order Pharmacy on their webpage... and in the page's top headings click "Pharmacy" then make sure you click on "home delivery" unless there's one near you that you'd prefer to go to in person. Seems like a lot of the cut rate giant stores have Watson brand Lorazepam. Good Luck.
I have that exact same problem . I complained to walmart and they told me to call the maker who used to be watson . They said it must be me, in so many words . I had some old pills in my car for and I have taken them and they work. I take 0.5 at night and sleep right thru the others I wake up 2 or 3 times a night . I dont know what to do ? Any help out there ?
Hi Ghost,
Greenstone and Mylan are brands of Lorazepam that you feel are effective. I'll check them out. How does someone get them for $0 at Walgreens??? Sounds too good to be true, will check out.
That's what I thought also. CVS wanted $400 for 60 cnt. Try ACTIVIS MFR they were bought out by WATSON and everyone knows they were the best. If you want next time you get ur script, make the Dr. write DAW (dispense as written), bread to Walgreens.Remember, their policy is 30 days minimum from last pick up. Make them last.Hope I shed some light.
Hi, I was amazed to find out that my local Costco Pharmacy does carry (still, not sure for how much longer) Watson brand of Lorazepam. My MD e-scripted an RX to them. The Costco Pharmacy Mail Order doesn't carry Watson anymore.
Hi Anxious,
YOW. Made in India. I'll have to check what I get from Costco that is supposed to be Watson. I thought the Actavis Lorazepam has to have ACTAVIS on the label...???
I called the activis company the medication is the same I could only take Watson but when they bought the company they didn't change the formula at all. you won't have an issue taking it. the NDC number never changed. Hope this helps.
I think Watson brand got bought out by Activis. We have to just how it's equal or better
