Can you please tell me what this pill is. We found in our house and wonder whos medication it is. ## I can't be 100% certain, because I am not finding this listed in the U.S. databases, so it may be something that isn't available here or is newly available, however, the limited information that I did find says it contains 20mgs of Lisinopril, which is an ACE inhibitor that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache. Learn more: Like I said, I have been unable to definitively confirm this. Are you located in the U.S.?

I've been on 5mg Lisinopril for almost 3 months and have lost 6-8 lbs. without trying. I was only about 180lbs. to begin with. Will the weight loss eventually stop or should I stop the medication? Thanks....Tony ## Lisinopril is most commonly used to help lower blood pressure. Have you spoken to your doctor about this, yet? The weight loss is not considered a normal side effect, but a rare and unusual one. Normally, most side effects start to wear off in 4 to 6 weeks of use. It's very important to involve your doctor in the decision you make about the drug, since the weight loss could also be caused by something else. ## Thank you for your reply. Rest assured I am not stopping or changing any meds without consulting my doc. Tony

I too use Lisinopril-HCTZ. I resently had a reaction but I am not sure to what. It seems to happen more in warmer weather. Both my thumbs hurt. Because I am used to pain I can ignore it accept when having to use them to open something up. Along with the pain I had localized rashes on my hands where the pain in my thumbs were. It also discolored my skin. I went to dermatologists that have know idea what it was. Now that it is cooler the rash has subsided although the discoloration is still there ever so slightly and the pain in far less. The discoloration is light with dark spots. The reason I am writing is that I have read that other people seem to have pain in their thumbs when taking this drug.
