I'm 68, no one so far can control my blood pressure. 244/161 the highest so far. Just left hospital for three days. At my request, doctor gave me Cloraz Dipot to ease my anxiety of taking blood pressure, and taking the new medicine. My other medicine made me sick, ended up calling 911. My problem? I can't tell I took Cloraz. Shouldn't I? It's 3.7mg. Will taking two hurt? I take: Lisinopril, 20mg. once a day Metoprolol tart, 50mg, twice daily Hydralazine 25mg, three times daily for bl. pressr. Lisinopril and grapefruit interaction? ## Grapefruit can decrease the proper metabolism of many drugs, and therefore decrease/or almost cancel out the effect of this drug on the body (in this case with lisinopril ..blood pressure may not be properly decreased to the full effectiveness it should be at) Do not take grapefruit/juice at the same time. I would wait 2-4 hours after administration of medication to avoid an interaction, if you MUST have grapefruit. Safest is to just switch to a different fruit! Happy Mothers day! ## That is correct and it should be noted that this does not just refer to grapefruit juice, but to anything using it and the actual fruit itself, since it all contains the same substances. Do you have any other questions? ## This pill is Acetaminophen 300 mg and Codei...
can lisinopril -hctz 10-12 5mgtab be cut in half? ## Hi Shirley, Is there a score line (indent) on the pill? If there is, then it is there specifically for the purpose of cutting the pill in half. Whether or not there is a score line, I would still cut the pill in half if needed. Maybe talk to your doctor about getting a lower dose of this medication if you consistently feel the need to use half a dose. NOTE: cutting a pill in half only works if the pill is in tablet form. This just wouldn't work if it is a capsule, since the contents would fall out. Hope this helps!

I have diagnoses of high blood pressure, idiopathic hypersomnia and sleep apnea. I use the above medications and a Cpap machine. I also believe i may be perimenopausal. I have had nagging fluid retention in my hands, feet and sometimes face. I take 400 mg of provigil to stay alert during day but still feel tired most of time. I have no energy for exercise, sex, etc. Some days i am very hyped by the meds. I have also had tingling in my hands and sometimes feet usually when I have increased fluid. What do I do? Have not had any luck from my doctors who feel I need these meds. My thyroid is fine. ## I take ziac, prevacid. Is there a negative reaction with Cyclobenzaprine 10 mg?
