Lisinopril 20mg Tab

I am taking Lisinopril 20 along with 11 other medications. I had a major heart attack 6 years ago (but doing great now), have diabetes 2, and narcolepsy. I am really fighting the daytime sleepiness to the point that it is negatively affecting my life. I see where it can cause drowsiness, so I am trying to see if there is an alternative that does not cause drowsiness (I am doing this for all meds that have that warning as well) before I go to the doctor so I have something to present. In your case, it is really hard to say what is causing the drowsiness, it may be one of your medications, or it could be your heart, your diabetes or just the narcolepsy. Thus, I am very glad to hear you'll be consulting your doctor.

I am not sure what else you are on, but being that I am also a blood pressure and cardiac patient, so I have a lot of experience in this area, I can name a couple medication options that you may want to discuss with your doctor, that are known to cause less side effects. I turned out to be very sensitive to medications, so I had bad luck with almost all of them, until my doctor finally researched and suggested I try these ones.

One is Atacand, which contains the active ingredient Candesartan, it's an ARB, so while mainly being used to treat hypertension, it can also help with cardiac function.
