Linzess And Weight Gain

Type 1 diabetic, hypothyroidism, high blood pressure, allergies, glaucoma and constipation. What else? Taking Linzess. Dr prescribed 580 mcg! Not helping, just bloat. I am not going to take it anymore and just use Lactulose. I hope to lose the 15 lbs gained in 3 months. Glad to know that I am not alone.

Hello, Myriad! How are you? I'm sorry that the Linzess isn't working for you.

What medications do you take for the other conditions you have? There's a chance that some of them could have caused the weight gain and constipation.

For example, as listed by the FDA, most medications for high blood pressure can cause weight gain.
