Leftover Cyclobenzaprine Pills

I got these pills from my doctor when I was having back pain (from playing too much golf too quickly when I hadn't played in 5 years). I don't remember why I stopped taking them.... I think it caused some sort of side effect. Anyway, do these pills have a use? Or are they useless. I should also note that they're 6 months old.

Hello, Jennifer! How are you?

Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant, it's used to treat the pain associated with muscle sprains, strains and spasms.

Learn more Cyclobenzaprine details here.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and headache.

They are usually good for a year after the date you receive them from your pharmacy.

You shouldn't take them again, unless your doctor instructs you to do so, but if they are still good, there's no harm in keeping them put away, in case your doctor does want to prescribe them again, sometime before they expire.

Is there anything else I can help with?
