I've been taking lizness for almost 2 or 3 weeks.. But when I take it I do have results like a hour or so after but towards the night time I get bloated and can't go to the restroom and urinating even starts to become hard to do. I feel spasm in the rectum, feel heavyness in that region with discomfort.No bleeding during passing of stool in the morning.There is constipation.Have been taking Drotin D S thrice daily for two days.Getting response in a slow pace. I have a very important question. I was injured in 2005 and I take oxycodone/Tylenol 10/325 1 tablet 4 times a day, well it causes me to be horribly constipated so my Dr. told me to use miralax and to take as many doses up to 16 caps in 1 day. So the other day I took 9 doses then I got called in for a random urine test and it came back showing no oxycodone in my system even though I took it the night before, so I need to know did the miralax clean that out of my system?

Can I take Lizness only as needed, maybe twice a week or do I have to take it every day. I do not like the idea of having to take a medication for the rest of my life daily so really only wanted to take it when it was really necessary since it works so quickly. I have been using Softovac Powder 2 sf every alternate day for last 3 years . I have been getting relief also except stomach cramping. Recently I have been diagnosided have billirubin on very slightly higher side. My doc asked me to stop softovac for sometime and given me Lactihep syrup ( supposed to help billirubin as well as relief from constipation) but I am not getting my bowels movement clearly. Should I start softovac ? Does it increase billirubin ? As far as I know the priority is to keep stomach clear by regular bowel movement .What should I do.?

Just read some info on taking linzess and armour together. I have been taking linzess, armour, vitamin D and a probiotic together in the a.m. since I was first prescribed the armour. Now I'm wondering if I've had the full effect of any of the medications. How do I time all of this since both need to be taken on an empty stomach?

I changed meds for issues regarding HRT and at first it caused major constipation... My doctor told me to take Miralax , so I did a couple of times... It relieved the symptoms of constipation, but now, a week after the last dose of Miralax, I'm still having incontinence.. When will this stop? ## Hello, Sunny! How are you? I suffer from trapped gas in my left upper quadrant. difficult to have good bowel movements except with coffee, been that way for years. Doc put me on linzess 145 once a day - immediate and severe diarrhea but I was actually getting to a point of feeling "empty" - I suffered through 2 full months of this diarrhea until getting a bad bout of nausea and have stopped it cold turkey. Now I seem to not be able to "empty" my colon and get relief. I've also had muscle aches and gagging type of nausea recently. Even after 7 days I still feel those symptoms. I started taking miralax three days ago because of very bad constipation (impacted stool?) and two days later thankfully a long stool came out. But today when I tried to poop, nothing came out! If so, this tablet is manufactured by AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals and they list it as being a 25mg Movantik tablet. It is used to treat opiate induced constipation. I have a back problem and am taking pain meds that constipated me. Filling up until impaction and then blasting it out with potassium citrate, etc. Under the Doctor's guidance I reduced the pain meds and started Linzess. I did a clean out and then started the Linzess 3 days ago. So far nothing, no BM. I am on the 145 dosage. How long does it take this medication to work?
