Will Linzess Work?

I have a back problem and am taking pain meds that constipated me. Filling up until impaction and then blasting it out with potassium citrate, etc. Under the Doctor's guidance I reduced the pain meds and started Linzess. I did a clean out and then started the Linzess 3 days ago. So far nothing, no BM. I am on the 145 dosage. How long does it take this medication to work? I am taking it on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before breakfast.

Usually, people see results with first dosing. Are you taking it with water?

You may need to try to higher dose.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, weight loss, bloating and diarrhea.
