I GET DRUG TESTED EVERY 2 WEEKS AND I HURT MY BACK AND MY AUNT GAVE ME A SOMA AND I HAVE A 12 PANEL DRUG SCREEN URINE TEST AND I WANNA MAKE SURE I'M NOT GONNA FAIL MY DRUG TEST.

thanks for taking the time to respond, Linda.
I was wondering if you knew about oxycodone and how its metabolites appear. I ask because I ran out a few days early last month, and took a single 15 mg pill 24-30 hours before my urine test. The doc said that the oxycodone didn't show up at all like it should. Not even its metabolites. This is getting to be stressfull. I can't understand why it didn't show. The other meds I'm prescribed showed up fine. I was honest with the doctor and told him I have run short by my own fault. He said, ok just make sure you take the med before your appt next time so we don't have to answer to the DEA. He is very kind to not discipline me, but I don't want to get his office into trouble.

Not all somas are narcotic. They come in different forms, like with codeine.

Yes it is a narcotic!! You have to pick up the script from the Drs officebecause it is. I take them daily.

Soma is now classified as a narcotic they changed that last year. I have been on soma,Percocet and oxytocin for several years due to back surgery and rheumatoid arthritis &Iam random ddrug tested at my Dr and yes it shows up on that test so I would assume it does on others.

"anyone knows you cant prescribe an addict more than a day's worth of a time".....?? what the hell gives u that idea? so suboxone doctors across the globe who give their patients 30 and even 60 days worth at a time, they have it all wrong according to you? i dont think you have any idea what you are talking about. maybe you should do some more research before spouting off about what "anyone knows" because you are just plain WRONG.

Soma only shows up in blood friends with lab supervisor your safe with urine test promise.

I have no idea about it showing up in drug test but I will tell you that it is a narcotic all you have to do is ask Google is soma a narcotic and it will tell you it is a narcotic muscle relaxer that is cautiously prescribed especially in patients taking narcotic pain relievers

It shows up as a tranquilizer. that is what it is broken down into in your system a cyclobenzaprine

Somas which contain the drug Carisoprodol are now classified as a narcotic. They where classified as a controlled substance but not a narcotic until a few years ago.

Wow, how do you walk or drive on that much medication! And as far as the question is Soma a narcotic the answer as far as in Florida YES SOMA IS A NARCOTIC. They are abused because the high is like ludes that were taken back in the 70s. If you take 3or4 they hit you like a rock! And if you take them with grapefruit juice it even intensifies it even more! As far as drug tests I don't know. Good luck and be careful with the somas!

Soma is not a narcotic. Recently came out of a great rapid detox center. They gave me a few for home.
