i am currently taking serequel for at least 2 yrs now and can feel the difference when i do not have it, found out it isnt a controlled substance nor is it usually tested for and was wanting to know if they consider this a addictive drug or not

Hi Christle,
Based on my research, Seroquel "technically" doesn't have addictive properties but that really depends on who is taking it. Some people can become psychologically addicted to the benefits that it offers, for example: decreased anxiety, better sleeping, etc. Therefore, if you were to stop taking it, you may feel "withdrawal" ie: increased anxiety, etc... due to lack of the drug. Always taper off Seroquel when discontinuing to avoid these symptoms.
