Is Isosorbide The Same As Isorb Mono

Why are there so many names relating to Isosorbide? Are they all the same medication?

Hi Desi,

Each of these names correspond to the same drug. I'm not sure why it has so many names though. It's a bit excessive in my opinion, but I can only assume that they are all different brand names from different manufacturers.

This medication is used in the treatment of heart failure, angina pectoris prophylaxis, and esophageal spasm.
