Is Gg 269 Alprazolam?

I have a small round white tablet, smooth on one side and GG over 269 on other side.

I believe the original imprint posted here is incorrect. There are three possible tablets which are likely what the OP is asking about.

The first one is a round white tablet with imprint GG 264. This is Atenolol 100 mg (NDC 0781-1507), which is a medication "used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. It also is used to prevent angina (chest pain) and improve survival after a heart attack." [1]



Inactive Ingredients:

- Cellulose, Microcrystalline
- Magnesium Stearate
- Silicon Dioxide
- Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato

The second one is a round white tablet with GG 296 on it. That is Loratadine 10 mg (NDC 0781-5077). It's an antihistamine "used to temporarily relieve the symptoms of hay fever (allergy to pollen, dust, or other substances in the air) and other allergies." [2]



Inactive ingredients:

- Lactose Monohydrate
- Magnesium Stearate
- Cellulose, Microcrystalline
- Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato

The final possibility, and I only share it here because they originally asked about Alprazolam, is an actual white Alprazolam tablet with the imprint GG 249. (NDC 0781-1089)

- Cellulose, Microcrystalline
- Docusate Sodium
- Lactose Monohydrate
- Magnesium Stearate
- Sodium Benzoate
- Starch, Corn
