Just needed some advise if im allergic to Buscopan, can i take Librax? Will i get the same allergy? Do they have the similar ingredients?. ## Hi Kim, What about Buscopan causes the allergy? The type of medication it is? ie: Anti- spasmodic, or a certain ingredient? Librax contains the active ingredients "chlordiazepoxide" and "clidinium", Buscopan contains the active ingredient "hyoscine butylbromide". Therefore, the ingredients don't seem to be similar but I believe that they do treat similar issues. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Librax Details Have you spoken with your doctor about this?

colon diverticulitis ## Hello, Are you referring to Buscopan Tablets? If so, I'm not really sure about what information you are looking to receive so if my response doesn't answer your questions, please feel free to post back. Buscopan Tablets contain the active ingredient Hyoscine, and are used as an abdominal antispasmodic. Buscopan is indicated for the relief of spasm of the genito-urinary tract or gastro- intestinal tract and for the symptomatic relief of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I have also read that this medication can be used to treat mild to moderate symptoms of Diverticulitis. From what I can gather, the usual dose of Buscopan (hyoscine) tablets is 1 or 2 10 mg tablets per day. If you need to take this medication regularly, the usual dose is 1 tablet 3 to 5 times a day...

Peach coloured round tablet - sticker on the packs t Says t/pant 20 ## I wasn't able to find an exact match to your description, but I did locate a round blue pill with a very similar marking "A-002", and got to thinking perhaps they could be from the same manufacturer: Azur Pharma Inc. The blue pill is known as Urelle and is used in the treatment of urinary tract infections. It belongs to the drug class urinary antispasmodics. I would consider checking out azurpharma.com and contacting them just to see if it's one of their own products. Has anyone else here come across this pill before? ## No, they haven't . If I'm allergic to sulfa, can I take Hyoscyamine Su? ## Hi Shannan, Hyoscyamine Su does actually stand for Hyoscyamine Sulfate, so in my opinion it wouldn't be wise for you to take this pill. Hyoscyamine comes as a tablet, an extended-release (long-acting) capsule, and as a liquid to take by mouth, so it seems like there should be other options that allow you to continue taking this medication without jeopardizing your well-being. Is there anyway you can talk to the pharmacy about changing scripts?
