I took a urinalysis and tested positive for marijuana (thc). I have not been smoking marijuana for approximately 6 months. I am an overweight male who had and has been abstinence from marijuana use. I do not understand how I came up positive without use. My medications include wellbutrim and ibuprofen. ## For those of you whom have been victims of a false positive UDS for marijuana, I empathize with you. Recently, I accidentally took 1200mg of prescription ibuprofen. I believed I was taking 600mg 3x200mg, but the tablets were 400mg. Approximately 84hrs later, I submitted a UDS. I tested positive, despite not smoking marijuana for over 11yrs. After contact with the lead doctor at the lab, he insisted I couldn't have smoked marijuana... I, instead, must have EATEN marijuana! My test l...

Ok. I know that they are obviously safe to consume- BUT I put one open and not only is my mouth numb, it is on FIRE and nothing so far (15 min) is helping it subside.... Any ideas? Am I ok or did I burn my mouth? Like wtf!? Thank you. ## Mandy, The ib 200 orange gel pill you consumed is an ibuprofen used for pain relief. Before getting into the details I want to state that it is never advisable to administer medication in a way that is not instructed. Getting to the point, because our stomachs are acidic the capsules have a very strong base to ensure your stomach does not destroy the active ingredients in the medicine to perform their function. The base used in this gel pill has a "burning" sensation that should subside over time with no permanent damage. I very strongly advise ...

I found a red and white capsule lying on my carpet. The white half has an L imprinted. The red half has a B. It's not ibuprofen, tylenol or benadryl, the only drugs we have in the house. One of our guests must have dropped it, and as they are all teens and preteens, just want to make sure no one is using something they shouldn't be. ## What did you find out about this pill? I just found it in my house. My daughter brought it from my ex's house ## Anyone knows what this capsule is? It's white on one end with the letter L imprint and red on the other end with a B imprint.

Also, is the letter "C" and number "25" on the same or opposite sides of the pill? Is Ibuprofen 500 mg equivalent to Hydrocodone 500 mg? ## The answer to your question is no. Although these are two completely different medications, they are often sold in combination with one another to form a stronger pain medication. Prescription ibuprofen is used to relieve "mild to moderate pain", while some hydrocodone products are used to relieve "moderate to severe pain". Other hydrocodone products are used to relieve cough. Additionally, Ibuprofen is in a class of medications called NSAIDs. It works by stopping the body's production of a substance that causes pain, fever, and inflammation. Hydrocodone is in a class of medications called opiate (narcotic) analgesics and in a class of medications called antitussives. Hydrocodone relieves pain by changing the w...

Is it safe to take ibuprofen that expired 3 years ago? What are the pros or cons? That’s all I have to ask. ## It doesn't become dangerous, but it may have lost some efficacy, according to FDA warnings, so it may not work as well as it did, when it was new. Overall, it usually best to dispose of expired medications, and purchase a new supply. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? Specifically, regarding your question, it might be milder than it originally was so that's a pro, but it might not work as well as you need, which could be a con. You should also take into consideration any other medications you are on, and if your doctor ...

I was prescribed sulfamethoxazole + trimethoprim 800/160MG TB (not sure what all that means), but it is for a bladder infection. I've taken 2 tablets a day for 5 days. I just got a bad headache and don't know if i can take Advil/Ibuprofen while taking sulfamethoxazole? ## What that means is that it is a generic for the antibiotic Bactrim and is in tablet form. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. And yes, they are often prescribed together to help treat the pain that some infections can cause, but you should always double check with your doctor to make sure it is safe for you to take them both. Has there been any improvement, yet? ## can I take over the counter tylenol while taking sulfame...

I was rear ended and was told i have a sprained lower back and the er doc prescribed me 400mg Ibuprofen, Baclofen 10mg, and Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-325 Tb. Can i take these together? If not, how can i take these? On a side note, the pharmacist didn't give or explain it to me either. ## They can be taken together, if they have all been prescribed for you, but you may experience more side effects than usual, according to FDA reports, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, and sedation. Have you started taking them, yet? If so, how are you feeling? Are you experiencing any issues? ## Has anyone taken 300 mg Wellbutrin, 100 mg Tramadol and 400 mg Naproxin together?
