I am having severe pain and also have a knot in the joint region of my right thumb at the thumb hand junction. Ibuprofen gives me severe stomach pain. I don't have ulcers but just can't tolerate ibuprofen. I have taken Darvocet for over 30 yrs to control my headaches, knee, and lower back pain. Now that I can no longer take it due to recall I am not taking anything other then Excedrin Migraine. It doesn't help very well especially if its a severe headache or joint pain. ## Have you consulted a doctor? They are really the only person that will be qualified to help you find a proper diagnosis, as to what's causing the problem and reach a proper treatment decision. There are other options on the market that you can try, but most of them will require a doctor's prescript...

Can pregnant women drink Ibunate 400 ? ## Hello, Sone! How are you? This contains the active ingredient Ibuprofen which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and they usually aren't recommended past the third month of pregnancy, due to the increased risk of bleeding that they create. You should be able to take Paracetamol, unless your doctor tells you not to. Is there anything else I can help with?

i would like to know what possibility of this gen payne from affecting me. i took it for about 3 days. at first it made me very hungry and then that turned to something like heart burn and now the pain has grown i don't know if i now developed ulcers or what. i get this pain throughout the day. please help ## Gen-Payne is listed as containing Ibuprofen, Paracetamol and Codeine, it is used to alleviate pain and fever. I found a pill today and I can't figure out what it is because I could read the whole imprint and Google sucks.. it was a bluish, and the imprint started with "Legat" I think. or something along those lines. And it was blank on the other side. its as big of a white ibuprofen 800. Someone please help!! ## Have you thought of getting it analyzed by a lab?

How does ibuprofen compare to Celebrex or Toradol for post surgery inflammation and pain? Ibuprofen has always worked for me in the past and I'd prefer a safer alternative. ## None of these are really a safer alternative, so to speak, because they are all NSAIDs, so the possible risks, such as stomach ulceration, gastritis and increased risk of bleeding are about the same for all. Really, it would most likely be best to stick with the one that you know works well for you. What has your surgeon recommended? Of the choices you listed, Toradol is the strongest, so it may provide the most pain relief.

I am a US citizen & am residing permanently in S. Central Ecuador. We love this place, but there are so many adjustments to make & in so many different areas! I have a chronic illness & must take some medications. I must do lots of internet searching on this topic as my Spanish is not yet adequate though I only see an MD with a translator.....And please correct me if I'm wrong, but most of the small pharmcies seem to be run & owned by people without medical education so I do not feel comfortable asking them.....My husband was prescribed Arcoxia for sore muscles after a minor fall. His only health problem is asthma, & we get confused by which anti-inflammatory drugs are okay with asthma. Please clarify, if you know. Also, compare Ibuprofan with Arcoxia. Thank You

Can you use Myprodol, Ibuprofen and Painblock together? ## It wouldn't be advisable to mix them and most likely it would also be unnecessary. Myprodol contains the active ingredients Ibuprofen, Codeine and Paracetamol, so you'd be doubling up on the Ibuprofen and the Paracetamol, since that's what's in Painblok. I bought a round orange ibuprofen at Dollar Store. It has I-2 on it..who makes this and where is it made? Thanks ## Hello, Dine! How are you? These are actually available throughout the country at various stores, they all use the I-2 marking, but some are different shapes and colors. They all contain 200mgs of Ibuprofen and are manufactured by Major Pharmaceuticals Inc who are in Michigan. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is there an alternative for IP 465/ibuprofen, over the counter type? ## Hello, Semilogical! How are you? The highest dose Ibuprofen available over the counter in the U.S. are 200mg tablets and the tablet you mentioned contains 600mgs. However you can take more than one of them, if buying the over the counter ones are cheaper for you and your doctor approves it. Is there anything else I can help with?

Recently tested positive for valium on pre-employment drug test. Took two ibuprofen and used oxymetazoline hydrochloride nasal spray the day before the test. Also use baclofen daily. Don't take valium ever. Lost job because valium showed up on test results.

I want to know that what excipients are used in alaxan fr ## Hi Thinzar, From what I could gather Alaxan FR contains Ibuprofen (200mg) + Paracetamol (325mg); a combination indicated for use in treating mild to moderate levels of pain. Unfortunately I can't seem to locate any specific details pertaining to the inactive ingredients found in these tablets. However, I believe that type of information is usually listed on the packaging itself. If I had to guess I wouldn't think this product is manufactured in the U.S., due to the lack of available information on it. If this is something you can pick up at your local pharmacy, you might want to double check with them as well. Does anyone else have more info on these tablets?

LONG WHITE ## I cannot find an identification for this exact marking. However, I can tell you that pills marked with an L followed by three additional numbers are over the counter products. They are manufactured by LNK International and are sold in many countries as generics or store brands of these over the counter products. That also explains why I can't find a listing for it, OTC items are not required to have the imprints logged, like prescription medications are. my sister n law is currently n prison & had back surgery prior to being locked up, she was being treated there with 800mgs of Ibuprofen 2 x daily & had surgery again recently. now they have put her on some new meds called neurotin I have never heard of it b 4 but she said that she feels better than she has n a long time. she says that the numbness n her shoulders & back has decreased 80% would u pls tell more about this drug thank you. ## Hello, Sue! Since Acetaminophen is also in the tablet with the Hydrocodone to potentiate it, you shouldn't add the Ibuprofen, unless your doctor says that it's safe for you to do so. No, you really shouldn't mix them, unless your doctor specifically says that it's okay for you to do so. orange round pill 44 332 ## I cannot find an ID for this specific pill, however, I can tell you that those marked with a 44, followed by additional numbers are over the counter products. ## I've found them in the same bottle as the 44 438 Ibuprofen 200 in white tablet form. If you look at the label, it's orange and white, yet the label stated "color free & dye free". This was from lot #P33051 3/06. I've discarded these. My first thought when I opened the bottle: Apparently someone had a sense of humor and decided to package the contents to match the label of the bottle I found in my Grandmother's OTC supply.
