I have familial tremors of both hands, since 40 years. I am 66 now.
I have been taking Betacap TR 40mg for over 1 year. The tremors have not improved.Of late I have been advised by a Neuro-physician to start taking 80mg, Is it safe? Will it help ?

I have headace continously and heavyness in whole head. Doctor advice to take Beta cape tr 40 and xetCR plus and Ezact 20 mg. kindly advice period to continue this medicine as already taken 7 days with out any result

since 15 years at the age of 26 i started betacap tr 80 & lonazep 2mg at one stage i was perfectly ok, again started tremor in head, at that time i went to one more doctor he advised me to take betacap tr 80&revotril 2mg. even after taking betacap tr 80 & revotril 2mg my head is shaking , i am taking this medicine since two years, should i continue for life long or else i can decrease dose gradually and stop. also i am a smoker

i am suffering with exaggerated physiological tremor in hands and lightly in jaws my neurophysician recommended me betacap tr 80 & clonotril 2mg, after 9 years i am consulting one more doctor , now he is saying that after NMR report he wiil advise.Now i am suffering from phobia, also i am a smoker. should i continue it as i am scared that how many years should i take this? I am 33 years old plz suggest

i am tremendious suffering with tremor in hands and legs my neurophysician recommended me betacap tr 80 & lonazep 2mg, after 10 years i consulted one more doctor , now he advised me to take betacap tr 80 & revotril 2mg, also i am a chain smoker. should i continue it as i am scared that how many years should i take this? plz suggest

I had same problem and taking betacap tr 40 mg for past 3 yrs, the only side effect i had was hair thinning, but this has reduced my HBP & anxiety. Also i would suggest you to go for a walk every day and take more fruits u can see the difference and then reduce your dose after consulting doctor. Most importantly if your are smoker, quit smoking immediately.

How can u feed a load of crap on the net? Betacap tr 40 is propranolol 40mg slow release. It's used for various reason's. Primary action is slowing the sympathetic effects on the heart thereby lowering BP, heart rate and reducing anxiety induced physical effects. IT IS NOT BETAMETHASONE!

my mother is 50 year she is suffer from hyperthyroidisum .graves disease .her eye become more inflam and pinfull last 1year.one doctor recomond betacap TR 40 for 2-3 month.is this any side effect of this medicin because it is sterid.how long she will continut this medicin .and other doctor recomond surgery .what is the brtter and safe option?tell me fast as soon as possible
