I think if this is true that might be why I've been having seizures (about 1 month). So I've taken myself of Zyprexa since I'm so scared of another seizures. This has caused my panic attacks and anxiety to sky rocket. I walk dogs for a living and am always afraid I'll have a seizure while no one is around.

Been taking 4-Tramadol for years "as Prescribed" with no problems what so ever. It is a narcotic (Oxycodone) and used to extend pain relief without moving on to a much higher dose of pain med. What most pain suffers don't relies is, your better off to live with bearable discomfort. Due to chronic pain, what's going to be worse a little discomfort, rehab or possible liver failure! Think twice before taking that second or extra 1/2 pill your "not" doing yourself any favors. Read up on what your taking, make your own decisions, it's your life and "YOUR ONLY LIVER". Go to a Pain Management Group who specialize in chronic pain, not your primary MD. Get out in the Sun this Summer and warm your bones. Be well, eat well and properly (no night shade vegetables). If you don't know what they are look it up and not a recipe for chocolate or banana cream pie unless your a size 00-4, just kidding!!!! Maintain a proper weight for your frame. Through out that Recliner, sit upright, sleep in a bed, take a "slow" leisurely walk. Around your house, apartment, block etc, stay as mobile as possible. Lya' all, Be Well.
HI Mikki,
You're correct, taking Zyprexa (olanzapine) with Tramadol can cause seizures. The anxiety you're experiencing is most likely one of the withdrawal symptoms of Zyprexa. Other detox symptoms include Insomnia, bipolar disorder symptoms (like depression or mania), and symptoms of schizophrenia (like delusions or hallucinations).
I completely understand your reasoning for stopping this medication, but you should speak with your doctor immediately about detoxing from this drug in a safer manner. It's much safer to taper off as opposed to going cold turkey.
I hope this helps! Please post back if you have any more questions.
