I Need Suboxone To Show Up On My Drug Screen (Page 3)

I have been taking blue Xanax for the past couple of days and my Suboxone Dr, who I am scheduled to see on Friday, does regular drug screens to make sure that only Suboxone is in my system. I've gotten one of my friend's urine to use on Friday. Only problem is, they don't take Suboxone! Can I sprinkle some crushed up Suboxone in their clean urine to show up that I'm clean besides Suboxone? If I just use the clean urine, he will know that it's a hoax because I've been testing clean but with Suboxone and there's no way I can go without taking it. But I can't just pee my own pee, because I was made to sign a form when I started treatment with him that states that an individual who tests dirty for Benzodiazepines SPECIFICALLY will be booted out of his clinic and cancelled as a patient. So, can't I just crush up a little Suboxone and put it in the clean urine or will that not work? Help!

I've been trying to explain exactly this situation to everyone who thinks about attempting this for like two years lol...but nobody wants an educated answer...just want to hear what they wish was true!

Maybe someone will use your experience to deter them from trying this. I asked my doctor years ago if there was any instance where suboxone would cause a positive for opiates. He replied, with a his medical school training, MD and degrees (but on these forums the "heads" know better;)) that the only time suboxone would show as an opiate would be when someone does this. Suboxone has to actually METABOLIZE in your system for it to actually screen for bupe.

My old doctor was pretty cool, actually advocated for marijuana usage and wouldn't terminate you for using it:)

This did NOT WORK with my sub doc! Still coming up positive for THC from a week-long toking binge last month so I decided to give this a try after reading the various posts made by those who seemed convinced of the efficacy of this method. I dissolved a 2mg piece of film with a small amount of heated water as directed and then added the mixture to about 2oz of synthetic urine picked up from a smoke shop. Just as some others claimed happened to them the Suboxone failed to show up on the buprenorphine test but instead triggered a FALSE POSITIVE FOR OPIOIDS! I would have been better off leaving a genuine sample and facing the music. Sure I would have been pegged on the ganja but I could have saved $30 worth of fake piss and a quarter of a Suboxone film. Most importantly I wouldn't have compounded my already dubious situation by getting caught yellow-handed in a substitution attempt. No doubt there are some who have gotten lucky using this method but I'm here to warn those thinking about trying it that you're taking a big risk. Should you come up negative for bupe and positive for opioids you're gonna have some 'splaining to do. Most doctors will work with you the first time you fail the UA as long as you are transparent about the incident. You run a much greater risk of getting dropped by your doc if you get caught substituting and lying in an attempt to cover it up. Of course you could just tell your doc that you have fallen back into the clutches of your full-agonist-of-choice and that you've been diverting your meds to help support your relapse. Your doctor isn't likely to question your test results after such a damning admission, meaning you won't get pinched for cheating the test but you'll almost certainly be kicked off the program straight away. Does this seem foolhardy to anyone else?

my doc sends every sample to the lab......does that make a difference? they test in office jus to make sure you're clean then send to lab to check for sub

Does it really work? I go to doc on Monday and I'm Worried! I have clean urine, but I need sub in it and so many posts have said it doesn't work or it showed up positive for other opiates when they put sub in clean urine. Please respond! Thanx!

I have a friend that does this with his anxiety meds, he takes a couple the day before and the day of, and it shows up, some test can test amounts of certain drugs, like hydro for instance cause it has like four stages so if its in one of its last stages they know ur not taking regular but with sub i don't think that's the case, u just need to have bup in ur system, not a hundred percent positive cause there are so many different urine screens used, yours isn't one that's sent off is it, those are usually more through

I know this is a very old thread BUT, I need to make some things clear. In today's age of drug screening, the test WILL show exactly what drug(s) you have been using and the concentration of those drugs. It will even show acetaminophen if the doc wants to test for that. I had a drug screen once, back in 2006, and it showed my results of every drug I had taken....right down to my zoloft. I didn't have anything in my system that shouldn't be there and the only reason for the test was because they were having everyone sign narcotics contracts. So, for those of you who claim that only "opiates" meaning the word, is what shows up, that is wrong in many cases. It depends on what test they request. I was tested for every rx med I was on, like I said, even zoloft, and it also came back with acetaminophen and it's concentration. Drug test are extremely accurate today...even more so than they were in 2006 and the doctor can find any med he is looking for. To think otherwise is only fooling yourself and I would hate to see anyone do this with the wrong info. My doc even showed me the results and what it said! Now, I don't think rapid drug tests show drugs by name but they are also very unreliable! The tests run are at the doctors discretion. Oh, and, a doctor CAN kick you out of the program if the narcotic contract says they can with one dirty screen.....no chances given.....if he wants to do that. That is why it is important to read EVERYTHING and understand it before signing. It is a law that anyone on narcotics has to sign the contract. Besides being a chronic pain patient I am also a nurse! I have seen those test results. And, they are not only looking for specific drugs but the metabolizes as well.....that is the only way to prove you are taking the drug. A drug mixed into clean urine will never give you the metabolizes as drugs don't metabolize through the urine but through the liver and blood. I do believe most places are using these advanced tests. After all, it is the docs ass on the line, not to mention his license!

Yes crush a little up like 1/8 of the pill or less use synthetic just to make sure you know whats really in the urine .

Hey look youll be fine put the pc of strip in water not alot very small amount n keep it in there stir it shake it get it to disolve. Then get the clean urine add it to the sub solution so u dont waste any of the strip. Then warm in micro for about 10 to 15 sec hot not boiling....lol but then if ur female put in bra under a boob...keep it hot or in arm pit.my dr is like 1 hr from me so its very even temp n good to go but u can pull it off within 30 min.from micro time to dr test if it at any time it never loses good skin contact.....ok youll be ok my dr even sent mine to lab n guess what ive never had a single issue..

I have put a crumb of a sub strip in clean urine numerous times and have always passed. Those of you bashing us for needing to do this dont know our stories so keep your judgements and useless answers to urselves. My question is; will subutex dissolve in the urine when added. As for the remark that we are taking from those who really need the drug.......well, i smoke cannabis (not an opiate! Also not addictive) so blog your nastiness and idiocy elsewhere. Why even read our questions if you have no helpful or even factual answers. Testing for metabolites is a lie. Ive been in two diff programs and they both use a simple strip test for bupenorphine. Last but nit least, that dr who said that a test for bupenorphine doesnt exist is a pretty dumb dr!!!! They most definitely do exist! Very expensive but in existence for several yrs now. Even courts and probation depts have them!

I have recently started on suboxone tx and forgot to ask the doctor if smoking pot would be a concern for him...I recently smoked and forgot about the urine test I have to take this week...I was on subs ten years ago got off and was clean for 10 yrs and recently relapse but anyway in the past I have just added a piece of a sub into a clean urine and it worked every time. ...didn't heat it in a spoon first or anything like I've been reading on here..just crushed it up and added it to urine and it worked every time...however urine is just tested in cup not sent to lab, so that I don't know...

I need suboxone to show up on a drug screen because I'm trying to get clean and I have been successful for 5 days now but my problem is that if I'm clean I can no longer get the suboxone but I want to keep getting it At least for another month or so. How long before a screen do I need to take suboxone and how much do I need to take for it to show up? I just want it for a couple more times just I case I relapse.

Yes I have done the same but use the strip a and I also use synthetic urine I just cut off about 1/8 of the rlet it dissolve make sure temp. Is right works every time and you use the same bottle 3 or 4 times

In the past I tried to sprinkle or dissolve a strip in urine and on the panel test at my doc it did show up as opiates. I read on this board or another that if you heat it up it will work.

So, what I did was bought a few similar tests from Ebay, put clean urine in a small bottle, took a tiny bit of water and put it on a spoon with the sub crumbs and lighted the bottom of the spoon to a boil and which turned into a liquid mixture of sub and water. Then I added it to the urine and tested it with the Ebay test and it passed for all and showed positive for bup also. However, I did not try it at my doctor's because I ended up getting a friend who could stand taking a sub and p'd for me. I had him pee in a freezer bag and put in freezer. I have about a year supply, but every month the frozen pee gets less fresh looking. At some point I will run out or it won't look right so I will have to do the spoon method a try at my doctors. I would do the spoon method if it were my only hope. They way I figure it, it works because the boiling of the mixture somehow metabolizes correctly. Just sprinkling in subs does not metabolize. I have heard that it works for some, but just sprinkling didn't work for me. Hope this helps.

I love all the stories... but I'm in a serious jam. I put myself here regardless... but I need help and all I'm reading for the most part are just stories about why you're on suboxone...and some ask the same questions that 50 people asked. Did you happen to read anything on this forum yet?

My situation is the same as a bunch. I had a slip up due to a close friend committing suicide a few weeks before another good friend was murdered. I'm really upset that I messed up bit I cant take that back.

I have nobody I can just get to take a sobo, without feeling making them really really sick with where my levels should be. I can get clean urine... and I.know a bunch of people asked this and I'm.pretty sure I believe that just adding a sprinkle to the urine will test pos for opiates. I've also read a few posts where they claimed heatingi it up in a spoon before adding it will work..??? This is my ONLY option and If I fail this urine... I'm screwed. My test wasn't supposed to be until next week, but my doc called and is going on vacation so I need to come in early...tomorrow. Im pretty educated in.addiction and recovery so I don't need any speeches about just taking it as prescribed and not using. This forum wouldn't exist if that were the case.

Listen Up PPL, been on Suboxone for 9 years. IF they DO NOT send it to a lab, it works. IF they DO send it to a lab, you're screwed bc they can tell whether or not it has been metablolized in your body. My advice is this: DON"T STAY ON SUBOXONE for more than a few months. THe half life is way longer than any opiate and the withdrawl is awful and takes a lot longer to go through. Near the end, ask about getting the Vivitrol injection. once a month, u can smoke, take benzos, whatever. It keeps the cravings away and is just Naloxone.
