I Need Suboxone To Show Up On My Drug Screen (Page 23)

I have been taking blue Xanax for the past couple of days and my Suboxone Dr, who I am scheduled to see on Friday, does regular drug screens to make sure that only Suboxone is in my system. I've gotten one of my friend's urine to use on Friday. Only problem is, they don't take Suboxone! Can I sprinkle some crushed up Suboxone in their clean urine to show up that I'm clean besides Suboxone? If I just use the clean urine, he will know that it's a hoax because I've been testing clean but with Suboxone and there's no way I can go without taking it. But I can't just pee my own pee, because I was made to sign a form when I started treatment with him that states that an individual who tests dirty for Benzodiazepines SPECIFICALLY will be booted out of his clinic and cancelled as a patient. So, can't I just crush up a little Suboxone and put it in the clean urine or will that not work? Help!

Yes, it did work for me, but the urine I used from my friend's dad, also showed oxycodone that I did not take, so now the Dr thinks I took oxy and has ordered that I start seeing a counselor in order to keep my script going. I was not happy that my friend assured me the urine was clean and then get surprised with a positive oxy result. Can't afford the counselor, have gone busted broke trying to buy the suboxone, finally got insurance that claimed to cover suboxone but just today the insurance denied payment on the suboxone stating that I did not meet criteria!!! How do I not meet criteria when I have a strong history of opioid addiction!!! I am so frustrated and feel like I am constantly hitting brick walls just to stay clean and sober and live a normal happy life! The urine issue was my fault, I should've never had marijuana, but I did and it almost cost me my dr and my script. Guess I will be struggling again before long since insurance has denied payment because I cannot afford to continue buying suboxone out of pocket. System is set up to prevent those wanting help from getting help and keeping it! Just sick to my stomach over it tonight! But yes, my send out drug test came back positive for suboxone by me adding a tiny piece into the urine sample....it did not show up in the initial test in the office, though. Good luck!

I did the same exact thing except using someone else's urine that was suppossed to be clean. I put a tiny piece of a suboxone strip melted in it and it did not show up in quick cup test at the dr office but it DID show up in the send out test but oxycodone showed up also. I used my friend's elderly father's urine and they swear he didn't take oxycodone, but they are not the most trustworthy either, so I don't know if the oxy was a false positive or not. Dr making me go to rehab counseling now because of it.

To add to your point on how the system is set up to keep people addicted to drugs, have you ever heard of ibogaine? You're right that it's so hard to find a sub dr with openings, get a script, continue to get the script (relapses are so rarely overlooked), and then afford the script or have it covered. Even if you don't have these problems, then there's the drs who refuse to do any maintenance programs. Meaning they will start you off on a low dose, keep you there for a couple weeks, then start weaning you off. The purpose of suboxone is to keep the withdrawal at bay while you break the cycle of addiction, allow your brain chemistry to change to a sober way of living, change your life and usual habits, and basically put you in a much better and stable place so when you do face whatever withdrawal you're looking at from slowly coming off the subs, you're are far less likely to relapse. And most drs, whether they practice maintenance or not, will wean you down 2 mgs every month (some even as often as every 2 weeks). If it's every month then it's not too bad for most of it. But once you get down to 2 mgs a day they seem to think it's fine to just take you off entirely after that. That's so not possible. I had one dr work with me once to wean myself off. He let me do it at my pace, and as low as I wanted before being taken off. I went down to 0.5 mgs a day before I agreed to stop altogether. And even that I physically felt withdrawal on. But no where near as bad as stopping at 2 mgs. And getting on suboxone is 100 times easier than getting in a methadone clinic. Since suboxone came on the scene most the methadone clinics shut down. And the ones that are open have waiting lists in the 100's. And they require a daily visit to get you meds each day. These are our only choices yet so many people want to see us recover from addiction. It's outrageous. Now to my original question about ibogaine, if you've never heard of it, look it up.

It's legal in every country but the USA and Belguim. No drug company will invest the money into getting it past the FDA, drug trials, and available to the public since the patent ran out like over 30 yrs ago. Yet it's been proven to actually cure opioid addiction in 95% of addicts in a single dose. It's been proven to cure the cravings, eliminate almost all withdrawal symptoms, from a single dose that lasts about 12 hrs. Imagine being cured from this addiction physically in less than 24 hrs, and only having to make one clinic visit!!! Imagine if all opioid addicts could do this! It's also been proven to be effective in alcohol addiction, cocaine addiction, methamphetamine addiction, even nicotine addiction with success rates between 70-80%!! But with no patent, there's no money to be made. If one drug company put the cash in to make it available then they wouldn't have exclusive rights to the medication, and they're results could be used by all other companies and they'd have the right to also make the medication and sell it. There are ibogaine clinics in Canada, Mexico, and many other Caribbean and South American countries. They require about a 2-4 day stay and charge anywhere from $2000-$5000 for their services, and the treatment, not including airfare there.. It should be given in a medical setting since it is a strong hallucinogen and the trip lasts for 9-12 hours. It's said to be stronger and more intense than acid, but not quite as intense as DMT. But DMT only lasts for about 20 min. But you are completely right, none of those in power care to really treat addicts. It's more cost effective to keep us addicted and keep us coming back. Illegal drugs is the best thing to happen to those in government and those in the medical field. Keeping them illegal, and our choices limited is making them all rich.

Interesting information you have provided here. No, I have never heard of ibogaine but it does sound interesting and makes me wish I had enough money to check into something like that. I feel so much better using suboxone but I am catching hell every way I turn in trying to get and keep it. Makes me angry that those in control cannot see and understand the difference that it makes in how I feel and how I live my daily life, along with many others, whose lives are forever changed on suboxone. I do have concerns with taking the suboxone, every time I have taken it, my ankles and lower legs swell a good bit and I also seem to gain a ton of weight while taking it. I don't care for the swelling and weight gain but I feel so much better when I am on the suboxone on a regular basis. Still fighting insurance issues with it, though, and have been for a month now!

I have tried the remron and it messed me up more than any benzos like ativan zanax or klonopin. My mom took the remron and flushed them cause it was like i was messed up on opiates and benzos. I dont recomend that drug.

No that will not work. I was in the same situation. Your best bet is to drink lots of water to flush the benzodiazepine out and keep taking the suboxone.

It worked the first time on a regular dipstick test the first time, then the second time it came back as opiates. So be careful! They're sending mine to the lab and I'm so scared

Ok, here's what I just did 2 weeks ago. I had been taking ritalin and Xanax up to the night before my drug test. My test was at 2:30 pm. So at about 9:00 am I did a detox I bought at a head shop near me. Spent almost $50 on it so it wasn't some cheap ass brand. I took it all, and drank water like it said to. It also said to drink a bottle of water every 2 hours to keep my urine detoxed all day. I kept doing that up until 1:30. Then at 1:30 I took twice my daily dosage of suboxone. I did my screen at 2:30. They send the tests out so I didn't find out my results until last week. I showed negative for everything but suboxone. :-)))

This is not a good idea with a "drug free friend". I tried this with my fiancé. He rarely takes hydros. That's it. Never even had subs before. So I gave him a quarter of a slip. He got sick as hell. He wanted to kill me lol. This will work with someone who has been on it before or took it before. Actually it will work with your drug free friend but she may get pissed at you after she's done being sick.

When I did it, we just put a very small piece cut off of the end of a strip, probably less than a quarter of a strip. I recommend putting a little more, though, because mine didn't show up in the office and had to be sent out. It DID show up positive for the suboxone on the send out but it also showed up positive for oxycodone and the person who I got the urine from swears that oxycodone should NOT have shown up because they didn't take it. I am not sure if it was a false positive or if they were being dishonest with me. The urine came from my friend's elderly father, so it was probably a false positive for the oxycodone. Reading the comments of others, it looks like adding suboxone to clean urine can be a gamble, it works sometimes and it doesn't work sometimes and then it seems to also trigger false positives for opiates. Mine was more specific than opiates and showed the oxycodone. I have learned my lesson and will now take my suboxone as prescribed because it is not worth the risks for me. I am now mandated by my physician to attend professional drug counseling due to the false positive on the oxycodone.

Dear Slayerutica , So sorry to hear that your friend got sick while trying to help you. Unfortunately, suboxone will make some people very sick, while others can tolerate it very well. This is the reason that I didn't ask my drug free nephew or anyone else to take a little suboxone for me. My son also has a problem with addiction and he can't take suboxone because it makes him very sick. I wish so bad that he could take it, because I really want him to get his life and his finances straightened out. I wish you well in your future testing. :))

This is how I did it, {edited for policy reasons} The 2nd time it did not show up in the office test but it DID show up on the send out test....it also showed positive for oxycodone and the person who gave the urine swears there was no oxycodone taken, so it was possibly a false positive triggered from melting the suboxone in it. I have read where this has happened to others before, or false positives for opiates....it seems that melting the suboxone in the urine is a gamble, it works for some and not for others. Good luck!!! Okay, I was in the same situation (kinda). My story is that I got severely hurt while on duty in the Army, and was honorably, medically discharged. While still in the Army, after getting hurt, they were pumping me full of percocets. I never knew what pain killers were until then. So when I finally was discharged from the Army, I went to the V.A., to continue with my medical treatment, surgeries, ect.. Well, the V.A. was also giving me the same thing, "percocets". After them realizing that I had to continue taking them, they put me in pain management, and giving me papers to sign saying that I won't abuse, and sell them, and that I will take as prescribed. So after a couple of years taking them, I partied one night, and did some coke. I was supposed to have a urine test a week later, and didn't know if I would pass it or not. So I had a friend who took blues, and nothing else. I tok his piss, and poured it in my U.A. cup, and turned it in. A week later, I get a phone call telling me that my test came up positive for cannabis, and that they were taking me out of pain management, and sending me 1 more refill, and would not be getting anymore. So after a while of taking percs and blues, it was getting way too expensive. So I went to a outside Dr. to get on subs. She was $175, and refused to talk to insurance, or medicaid to help get them covered. I thought that was alright until I took the script of 90 sub 8's to the pharmacy. hem mo/fo's was $795 to fill.. WHAT???? So I called the V.A. pharm to see if they would fill it, which I've done before and got script filled with no problem. But they said not with them. But they did tell me that there was 1 more slot for the V.A. sub program that they just started. They got me in it, and seen 3 days later. After all kinds of questions, and urine test, the Dr. gave me a script for 1 week, and told me to come back every week for refills and another U.A. The 1st U.A., came up with cocaine, benzos, and opiates. He told me next time I should be clean. So week after week I went until I got put up to 2 weeks, to 3 weeks. I partied again, and pissed hot for opiates, cocaine, and benzos. He told me that 1 more time I was out. So my next visit was the next day after more coke, and blues. After coming to this site and seeing the 50/50% of people saying that sprinkling sub into urine worked, and others said didn't work. Well, it was my only chance. I used one of my kids urine, and sprinkled some sub powder, and took some sub powder and added it into water in a spoon, and cooked it until it boiled and then added it to the urine. I took that in and gave it to the lab. Well, I read that some people were saying that it would only work if it was just a quick cup test, but not for tests that went to labs, and didn't get results back for a week. Well, the V.A. don't have results back until a week, because there is a lab inside the clinic. So, I was terrified for my upcoming visit which was for today. When I went to see the Dr., I was waiting for him to tell me that they could tell that I altered my urine to be able to beat the urine test. But instead, he told me he was proud that I was clean. I was totally like OMG in my head. He gave me my new script and a appt. for a month away. I'm happy as hell, cause I did the same thing for the U.A. I gave them today. So, to let everyone know if it works or not, Yes it does, even if it goes to a lab. Sprinkle a tiny bit into the urine that is clean, and take a little sprinkle and put it in a spoon with some tap water, and heat it until it boils really good, then add it to your clean urine. IT WORKS!!!!!!

Just be careful and be warned, yes it does work but it will also throw a false positive for opiates or oxycodone sometimes. It happened to me before, it happened to a friend of mine yesterday and I have read that it has happened to several other people before. Happy for you, just be careful.
