I Need Suboxone To Show Up On My Drug Screen (Page 10) (Top voted first)

I have been taking blue Xanax for the past couple of days and my Suboxone Dr, who I am scheduled to see on Friday, does regular drug screens to make sure that only Suboxone is in my system. I've gotten one of my friend's urine to use on Friday. Only problem is, they don't take Suboxone! Can I sprinkle some crushed up Suboxone in their clean urine to show up that I'm clean besides Suboxone? If I just use the clean urine, he will know that it's a hoax because I've been testing clean but with Suboxone and there's no way I can go without taking it. But I can't just pee my own pee, because I was made to sign a form when I started treatment with him that states that an individual who tests dirty for Benzodiazepines SPECIFICALLY will be booted out of his clinic and cancelled as a patient. So, can't I just crush up a little Suboxone and put it in the clean urine or will that not work? Help!

Hi Ash, thanks for the quick reply. Yeah my doc..sends urine out to Quest diagnostics for testing, so I'm still not sure if they do a level test. All is says on my insurance statement is various body fluid tests and then it says " urine drug screen". Anyway when I left my app. Yesterday he told me to go to .5 every other day now! I've been at .5 for three months now I told him I was nervous about it but ready to try. He told me I would be fine cause I'm doing great. But I don't know I get that crazy thinking like he knows something and is just trying to get rid of me, which I know is most likely my own paranoia kicking in. Its just that I've realized how powerful this med. Is!! Its incredible how just a little sliver sets you straight. On one hand im ready to be off it and the next it scares the crap out of me. Docs. don't really get that part of it. Maybe they do idk. Anyhow I'll just do my best. Thanks these are matters I can't really discuss in a support group meeting, glad I found this site. Hi Ash. Well I did start off yesterday by taking just a .25 and did better than I thought. So I think I will just try to do that for a week and then call him and run it by him because I do agree that seems a better way to me. All I can do is take it day by day anyhow and hope for the best. I am going away for a week to visit my Dad which is good so I won't have to deal with this at work. Its funny because I remember at the beginning I wanted to stay on it for life, now I am ready to be done with it. Getting tired of driving to see him once a month, drug testing once a month, the money, ...guess I feel ready to. have a life without opiates in it! But I also know better than to rush this too because of this crazy half life. So its one day at a time and I will just be as honest as I can be with him, take care of myself and hope for the best. Hey Damien I'm so glad you're feeling good on it! I would HOPE your doc understands and realizes you know your body better then anyone! It's good you have a doc though that knows the ultimate goal of sub maintenance is to get off of everything, I feel funny on subs sometimes, actually a lot of times, like foggy/out of it, spacey and I've put on weight, I'm always craving sweet or carby stuff on it. While it's nothing compared to opiate withdrawal or addiction and the cons that come with it, I just miss being the person I was beforehand and would give anything for my brain and body to go back, one day, hopefully soon we can congratulate each other on a job well done :)

Enjoy your family visit, and let it take your mind off this stuff for awhile!

Thank you Ash, and yes I do believe some day we will be able to say job well done.
I can relate with the sweets/carby stuff!! LOL I have put on 56 pounds in the past year and half, but I kinda needed to as I was very skinny and unhealthy when I went into detox. Its nice to see people I haven't seen in awhile and they tell me I look healthy!! Also relate to the fogginess too but I do notice the lower I go the more that it goes away. But yes I also have to remember it beats the heck out of constantly fighting opiate withdrawal, I have to remind myself everyday what a blessing it is to be freed of that obsession! I am on suboxone maintenance prescibed by a doctor. First of all, it comes up as "bup" on a drug test. There is a test for opiates. If I did not use any heroin, but took my subs, it comes up as "bup". If I had used heroin, it comes as "opi" but just bup if you only take subs. We got a bit off track to her/his question though. Best advice: have your clean friend take a very tiny bit of a sub maybe a quarter or less, and have them pee again. I dont know if putting the subs in the piss would help. But another solution is to let him know you have anxiety issues and had a panic attack and took some xanax. Maybe he'll even prescibe them to you. Good luck!!!

all you have to do is say you are subject to seizures...I have had one episode of epilepsy and didn't like side effects of the drug...don't remember name..so I take clonapin. Valium can be used for emergency right before you go into episode. Thing is a good doctor knows the right questions to ask and I have a record of the exspensive test that go with someone who has had a gran mal seizere (severe).

But what happens when you test positive for nalaxone?? The ingredient in Suboxone that isn't present in subutex?

Hey Ash, well I went back for my monthly appointment and everything went great. My doc. and I agreed to stay at the level I'm at before stepping down one one lower. He made no comment on my drug screen just that he believes some people take longer than others at lower doses. So I really don't have any new info. to add to how precise the drug screen is. I do know that mine is a Mass Spectometry (?) which I read is precise down to the nanogram! But whatever,at this point I'm not even really worried about it. Hope all's well with you. Great story A82 thanks for sharing it. I can relate to almost everything you said though Vicodin was my DOC. I always have to remind myself of the hell that addiction can turn into when I start rationalizing getting some pills when I;m down or in pain, it usually passes whereas it used to feel like those feelings would never end. The whole one day at a time concept really helps too. Thats really the only advice I have for you angeleyze. I developed a pretty good coke addiction in my 20's and got through that one day at a time and Xanax to help with the whole anxiety thing. Reach out to people and ask for help before you do meth and just do your best to get thru the day, and those days will add up into weeks, into months and so on. Good luck to you. And Ash if you read this thanks for stepping up with that clown that shared his negative comments. Your doing great just ignore people like that, some people just don't get it, or don't want to!

ELI, if you try to drop a sub in urine you will fail the test. It will show up positive for opiates as well as the bup. This is due to the need for it to metabolize in your system. However, If you take a VERY small piece of the sub, crush it, mix with a little bit of hot water on a spoon, heat the spoon with a lighter so the water/sub mixture starts to boil, either put it right in the urine from there or suck it up with a visine bottle. This worked when I was having a similar problem but had time to experiment. I did this and used a test I bought from Ebay. Now, I ended up getting a friend to take one for me and piss in a freezer bag. So, I never used this theory at my doctor's office. However, in the beginning I was on the strips and placed a very small amount in it and it showed up for opiates and bup. It is the panel test. It doesn't go to a lab. Good luck. I am very fortunate that I have a bag of piss in my freezer. Hopefully, it will last a great deal of time.

Some Drs do and some do not test to see if it is metabalized. Mine does not.

Was wondering if you still believe boiling the Sub in a spoon before adding it to the urine still actually works. I smoked crack a few days ago and will have 88 hours clean. But I smoked a whole 8 ball so I'm thinking it will still be dirty after roughly 3.5 days later. I want to use a friends urine so I will need to add the Sub. Any help will be appreciated even if only to say "you're f***ed, dude". Thxx

Some of these ppl that post on here r judgmental f***n a**holes...y r u on this page if ur jus here 2 hate??! But no....the doctors only use an instant dip stick drug test...unless its going 2 tha lab which they very rarely do... So no they do not test 4 tha bupe AND tha metabolites...u will only test positive if u legit took tha meds bcuz tha way ur body breaks it down ...so thz ppl r halfway right I guess...I only kno this cuz I get subs myself n hv been faced wit similar situations....obviously were addicts or we wldnt b getting suboxone.... nobody is f***ing perfect and just bcuz they f*** it up dnt mean they shld quit treatment cz sum othr addict cld take thr spot!! And...DO NOT tell ur Dr tha truth if it means dismissal frm tha program... rules r rules flat out they dnt care wt u go thru...they r thr 2 write ur script n thats it...u will get kikt out b without suboxone then wut...get bak on dope bcuz ur sik n have no othr choice?? Excellent post Ash right to the point! Reading that text/post whatever the hell you were responding too was painful, really wasn't sure if I should take it serious or not!! Its one thing to have a slip up but to blatantly say "well I'm an addict too F***in bad" really isn't the whole point of getting sober. Honesty is usually the best policy and seems like it would be easier than boiling subs, saving pee in the freezer, saving someone elses pee, etc, etc. That to me is almost as bad as being addicted. If I were to go through all that s*** I'd rather just go back to using ya know?! Just my opinion, no judgement... Peace :)

Ok I'm gonna tell you like it is (went down for me) my Dr's office gives instant results (not sent out to lab) i needed sub to show up in urine and not opiates. I got clean piss from a friend. I took a SLIVER of sub (probly less than 1/16th of an 8mg sub (approx 1/4 to 1/2 of 1 (ONE) MG. ...i put it on a spoon...put a lil bit of water on spoon and heated it with lighter to a boilt and inserted this tiny bit of water into clean urine. Shook it up a lil bit. And went to take test...they test for bupreophine. ...apparently (according to other people here) some test for nonbuperophine. I have no idea but I think in office tests probly just test for bupe and labs (my old lab def did) test for bupe as well as nonbupe (I dunno the spelling but bupreophine is tested at both and nonbuperophine (or whatever it's called that has "no"in front of it) is tested for only at lab.

If people had problems on here I'm assuming it's cause the test tested for nonbuperophine (which I'm guessing is the result of it being metabolized in body)

But listen, I'm TELLING YOU, I was negative for everything except bupreophine. So there u have it. If ur stuff gets sent to a lab I have no idea....but I wrestled with what to do over and over and came to the determination that I was gonna try to put some sub into the urine, I did it like that and it worked...that's my experience. ..it f***in worked...so since some people on here SWEAR UP AND DOWN that it won't work, we'll it f***ing does.

It works. I wouldn't waste my time writing. Only reason I did is cause I got so much different opinions on here...so that's it. If you take ur test in ur Dr office, it probly just tests for bupe (not nobupe) and just cook that sliver shake it up a lil bit n u should be good....REMEMBER LESS IS MORE. good luck blokes.

LEASE READ & NEED ADVICE ASAP.

I am guilty of smoking and I am prescribed Xanax by a different doc. Other than that, haven’t taken an opiate in several years. To conceal this I had my on again off again boyfriend of 12 years take a Subutex & then I collected a huge bag of the urine & placed in freezer. My boyfriend & I are always breaking up & getting back together. Last Wednesday I made him leave because he stole my Xanax. He then went on a drinking & drug binge for the next several days. He ended up moving back in Sunday. So, I go to my doctor yesterday & she collected my sample but didn’t test it. She then told me that there was an anonymous phone call made last Thursday saying I am taking someone else’s urine in for these tests. Immediately I knew it was my “boyfriend” & of course denied it. I told her she could look in my purse if she wanted to (I keep in between my legs). She didn’t seem like she cared much but she said that they don’t take anonymous phone calls seriously & she wanted me to know that I have enemies. I am prescribed 5mg a day of Subutex. She said between the amounts I’m prescribed & the money I pay to do that isn’t worth it to me to cheat the system. I told her I what had happened with my bf & told her I know he did it.

1st question, she gives me my script & I go on my way with the urine still in the cup. I don’t know why she had me give her a sample if she wasn’t going to test it. I thought maybe she would send it to a lab, but she has told me in the past that if a sample goes to a lab then I have to pay for it. I have no idea if there is something that is up with that or not.

2nd question, I call my bf on this & he of course denies it but no one else even knows what doctor I go to except him. This morning I called him on it again and he finally admitted it and said he felt horrible & blah blah. He wants to call up there & tell them that he was angry at me & made it up. I don’t know if this is a good idea though. Will this bring more attention to the problem or will it back up my story that I told her yesterday? Even though nothing really became of it I am wondering if she has something up her sleeve next time I go. However, she is very forgetful but the note is in my file.

Yes I have done the same but use the strip a and I also use synthetic urine I just cut off about 1/8 of the rlet it dissolve make sure temp. Is right works every time and you use the same bottle 3 or 4 times

I have recently started on suboxone tx and forgot to ask the doctor if smoking pot would be a concern for him...I recently smoked and forgot about the urine test I have to take this week...I was on subs ten years ago got off and was clean for 10 yrs and recently relapse but anyway in the past I have just added a piece of a sub into a clean urine and it worked every time. ...didn't heat it in a spoon first or anything like I've been reading on here..just crushed it up and added it to urine and it worked every time...however urine is just tested in cup not sent to lab, so that I don't know...
