I found this pill on top of one of my cabinets in the house . can you tell me what it might be?

Could the marking be 5880 V?

I actually have these and due to the size and pressing of the imprint, the numbers are difficult to make out on them.

However, they contain 25mgs of Spironolactone, which is primarily used as a potassium sparing diuretic and antihypertensive agent.

Possibly a Prednisone, a corticosteroid, used primarily for inflammatory conditions. I would advise flushing it down the toilet, or putting it with yucky food trash, so no one will take it by accident or on purpose. It can have nasty side effects.
