what color, shape, taste and markings of hydrocodone? ## Which Hydrocodone are you asking about? There are several different dosages available, as both brand names and generics. The markings, colors and description will vary for each one. Is there are specific tablet that you are questioning the identification of? If so, please post back with a description and the markings on it.

It's a capsule that's blue on one half, and green on the other half, and it's supposedly a 15 mg hydrocodone pill. But there's no markings on it at all. ## If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to discover exactly what this contains. If it does contain 15mgs of Hydrocodone, then it has to have been something specially ordered by a doctor and compounded by a specialty pharmacy, since it is not an amount that is normally available. Where/How was it obtained? ## Are the hydrocodone 15/200 mg capsules stronger than the narco hydrocodone 10/325 ## From the dr. And they are blue and white made from a compounding shop Inc. May I cut a hydrocodone M357 tablet in half? ## when i take hydrocodone it puts me to sleep and i am sleepy all the next day. is it possible to cut this pill in half and will it still make me sleepy ## The answer to your question is Yes, you can cut this pill in half to divide your dose. The main reason I know this is because M357 has a score line going through half of the pill. Will someone pls tell me what nysta/hydro/banop is, im desperate. My dentist prescribed me this, im supost to swish gargle and swallow. I have no idea what this is or what it contains. I was prescribed a magic wash, the bottle dont have a specific name. It only sais nysta/hydro/banop, will someone pls tell me what this is. It sais 2 tsp swish & gargle then swallow. I was prescribed hydrocodone-acetaminoph 10-500 when I pulled my back and was in pain. Is it safe to take with my: type 1 diabeyes; kidney transplant; 2 heart stents; and permanent valley fever? ## Was it prescribed by a doctor that is aware of these medical conditions and any other medications that you are taking? There are some concerns about the Acetaminophen having an effect on the kidneys, so you really do need to consult a doctor about this and whether or not it is safe for you to take. It can also have some blood thinning properties, so there may be some issues to be concerned about there, depending on what other medications yo are taking for you heart.

can hydrocodone show up as oxicodone in a hair folice test? i took a hair folicle test and it didnt show my prescribed hydro's but it showed oxicodone instead ad i know i havent taken oxicodone ## From what I could gather, the cheaper drug tests cannot differentiate between the two medications and sees them both as being opioids (thus the same medication). In their system "I am assuming" that they programmed a positive opioid hair test to turn up as Oxycodone, (being a cheaper - lesser quality test). This a mistake on their part if you know that you haven't partaken in Oxycodone within the last 90 days or so prior to taking your drug test. Have you been able to discuss this concern with your doctor or any of the lab testers?

I am 57 yr old Male, I have congestive heart failure with injection ratio of 15%. It appears that when I take hydrocodone I have more energy and less breathing problems. Has this been found to be a benificial side affect. When I dont take it I dont have the desire or energy to do anything. ## Hydrocodone is used in some prescription cough syrups, because it has been know to help with cough and congestion. Another way it may be helping is through the fact that it causes depression of the central nervous system, so it may be helping your heart by slowing it down, so it doesn't work as hard. My son takes 1/2 a tablet every 6 hours how much tylenol is he actually getting? ## If his tablets are 5/500's then a 1/2 tab is 250 of Tylenol and 2.5 of codeine. ## The active narcotic in this is Hydrocodone, so he'd be getting approximately 2.5mgs of it and approximately 250mgs of the Acetaminophen/Tylenol. And the reason I say approximately, is because when you cut, or break a pill, it is very hard to be precise, so the dosage could be a milligram, or two, one way or the other. Does hydro/apap 5-325mg have codine in it ## No, those ingredients are Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, the Hydrocodone is still a narcotic and is distantly related to codeine, though. White scored oblong tablet with a logo imprint that looks like a C or a N or a U with a line through one side of the letter. Was told it was Hydrocodone 10mg/325. No other markings. Is about the size of a watson 10/325 yellow tablet. ## Based on the description provided, I may have located a match to your pill. The only problem is, my source does not show a photo of this pill, just the description "C" being the imprint on an oblong white pill. what is this pill v 86 85 ## Unfortunately this pill description does not show up under any of the U.S. prescription drug databases. The closest match I could locate is a purple oval pill marked "V 3586", that is identified as Hydrocodone (10mg) + Ibuprofen (200mg). If your able to double check the marking on your pill that would be great! Alternatively, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything. And as a last resort, you could ask them about getting the pills ingredients lab tested and brought back to you. I hope this helps!

have been taking hydrocodone 10-325 for two and a half yers for degenerative disk disease now he,s put me on 10mg oxicodone dont know alot about pain meds can someone out there give me a general idea of something thata not so costly but will knock out the pain fast tired of doc,s giving me the runaround injections didnt wrk would appreciate the info in chronic pain 4ever thank,s moonshine ## While it isn't as strong as the Oxycodone, so it would require a higher dosage of 15mgs, rather than 10mgs, Morphine is available in the same formulations as Oxycodone and is usually much cheaper, because it isn't as new to the market and isn't used as often. I found this pill in my house and I'm either going to dispose of it or get it back to the rightful owner, if possible. my daughter took 1 Hydrocodone/apap 5mg/500mg tab 8 hours later she was drug tested and only opiate showed up could this be from above medication ## YES! The Hydrocodone5 mg is an opiate. ## That is correct, the Hydrocodone is an opiate narcotic and the APAP is just Acetaminophen and isn't even included in these types of tests. Narcotics, such as Hydrocodone, are usually detectable in standard urine tests for 4 to 5 days, after last dosing. Are there any questions or comments?

This is a grey and yellow capsule with no markings on it. Suppose to be hydrocodone 20 mg. is this true ## If there are no markings on it, it is going to be difficult to determine what it contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription product, since they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. However, since the 20mg dosage is not a standard one available, it might have been something that was specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy. These products wouldn't have any markings and would be in capsule form. Where was it found/obtained?
