I use Qualitest Hydrocodone 10/500 (pink) for years for break through pain. I know they had to go to 10/325 but what I want to know is do they make the exact same pill except for the acetominaphen part. I have tried the white and I have tried the 10/500 Watson which is not blue but white and they just don't work. I just want the same makeup as the Qualitest that I have taken for years and even if the 2nd part is cut down I could add back a tylenol to it to get that 2nd part. I am not afraid of it I just need some pain relief and the pink ones did it for me and neither white or Watson white, they just don't work. Please help me and lead me in the right direction ## Hello, Louise! How are you? No, I'm so...
I took two 5mg hydrocodone pills on Tuesday around 5pm I may have a urine test on Friday at 10:00am will I be clean by then? I do not take hydro often, first time in months. ## You should be ok. Hydrocodone is an opiate. Opiates are detectable in urine for 48-72 hours. It also depends on if you take these pills frequently or just a one-time thing. It also depends on your body's natural ability to expel toxins. Some people can do it in 24 hours or less. Some people take longer than 72 hours. Based on the info you provided, you will more than likely be ok. Just to be safe, drink lots of fluids, but not enough to dilute your pee. Alot of places, like probation, consider diluted as dirty.
I have suffered from cronic migraines for years. For breakthrough pain relief my neurologist has prescribed Hydrocodone 10/650. When I needed it, it worked well unless the migraine had developed to a complex migraine, then a trip to the ER was needed, and IV hydromorphon and phenergan seemed to do the trick. Now thanks to the new federal law, No more than 325 mg of acteomediphine can be in medications. Now my medication doesn't seem to be working as it once did! What can I do now, other than taking two pills, which I don't want to do at all! Help!! ## Hi Krisy, Sorry to hear about your situation. I'm no doctor, but I do know of some other people who have decided to just take an extra Tylenol (Acetaminophen) tablet to make up for the difference in dosing. On the other hand, y...
I am currently in the military and, unfortunately cannot be with my kids all the time. My youngest daughters mom just got her youngest daughter taken from her due to failing a drug test and evidence of drug use. I do not have such a strong case but hopefully someone can help with the levels. I was told by my lawyer that the limit was 200 but she had 1600 in her system. I know for a fact that she uses her prescription to hide the fact that she is an addict, but would these levels be normal for a person prescribed to lortabs? This means a lot to me if you can't tell and I would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks
UpdatedI have a oblong shaped pill from Pakistan that is supposed to be Hydrocodone but it isn't. It is imprinted with a Capital W or M in cursive script on one side and just scored on the other ## Unfortunately, there are no databases for pills from most countries. The U.S. is a rare exception, Canada still keeps a database, but it's no longer publicly available. Where did you obtain it? I know there's one with a marking like this that's oblong and yellow, which contains Meloxicam, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, but I am not familiar with a pink one. Learn more Meloxicam details here. ## I also received the same pill and can find no info online what so ever.Do they work? ## Did anyone answer Thomas do they work? ## burn like hell
I have been taking hydrocodone manufactured by Mallinckrodt for years, I recently renewed my rx and they gave me hydrocodone manufactured by Watson, I found these do NOT work as well. I called the pharmacy and they told Mallinckrodt discontinued producing hydrocodone. Is this true? If so does anybody know of a manufacturer that is equivalent to Mallinckrodt? ## Hi I have been taking vicodin For a long time.but from different manufacturers. And recently I got some a couple of days Ago,and it was generic for lortab.it is called norco.and it said generic for lortab.I don't know Who the manufactor is. But it is stronger.and only 325 mg.of tylenol. I take 7.5.I don't know what you take but it is stronger I guess bc it has less tylenol. You could research it and see.or just research t...
I received a telephone call today from my pain management doctor of almost 7 years telling me I failed a urine test for Fentenyl . I have been taking 25 mcq every 48 hours. I went on vacation and had my entire prescription for the month stolen from my hotel room. It was near the end of my trip. When I returned, I telephoned for more, explaining the situation. They told me "no" and made me wait therefore I had to go through withdrawals. I had tried Fentenyl several years prior and had the WORST withdrawal from it that I could not imagine what I was in for, so I left the patch I had on for 10 days until my next appointment. I figured it would lessen the withdrawal symptoms little by little. Well, I had forgotten that little tidbit of information and never told them. I even forgot ...
Updatedare Lortabs still in use? My pharmicist said they were no longer made. ## The FDA has asked dr to no longer prescribe it with 500 mg acetaminophen but instead to use the mandated reduced 325 mg acetaminophen. The FDA has also asked pharmacists to contact the drs if a rx is written for the 500 mg before filling it. The hydrocodone and acetaminophen (Lortab, Vicodin, Norco) are still made. But, the amount of acetaminophen has been reduced. ## So can you take a Tylenol to get the same results since they lowered it to 325? I'm so used to the 500 and it just isn't the same ## Talk to your dr first. The new recommendation from the FDA is not to exceed 3,000 mg of tylenol in a 24 hr period. ## It isn't that the FDA has asked them to no longer prescribe the higher amounts, they'...
White with red spots and it says Watson on one side and 3202 on the other side? ## Hello, Megaman! How are you? This tablet contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Hydrocodone, the active ingredients in Norco. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I took a drug test for my PO today and came up positive for THC . The problem is that I don't even smoke weed !!! I have been on prescriptions HYDROCODONE-ACETAMINOPHINE 5-325, PHENAZOPYRIDINE 200mg., and BACTRIM 800-160. Is it possible that any of these meds would have caused the problem? ## No, none of the medications you listed have been known to cause false positives for THC. Did you take anything else, even over the counter products? ## Advil , ok there is a rare case legally about Advils potental to cause false poss. For thc rare but all out bodies don't work the same.
Can hydrocodine-chlorpheniram be used with Zyrtec? ## Hello, Pam! How are you? No, the Chlorpheniramine and the Zyrtec are both antihistamines that do the same thing, so both shouldn't be necessary, unless your doctor has instructed you to do so. What specific issue is being treated?
Found this in my sons pocket really need to know what it is ## Hello, Concerned Mom! How are you? Yes, if this wasn't prescribed for him, then this is something you'll want to talk to him about. This tablet contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Norco and is a narcotic pain reliever. It has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Just had surgery for a hernia. I was prescribed Norco 5/325, take 2 every four hours. Can I take 1 every 2 hours so I don't get that "Narcotic" feeling? ## Hello, Scott! How are you? Yes, you should be able to do that, but you should double check with your doctor to be sure. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
how can i pass my hydrocobone drug test if I didn't take any of them and I consume marijuana? ## You can't. Either find some and take them at least 3 to 6 hours before the test... and disclose the marijuana consumption before it shows up (marijuana helps with pain and some drs are more understanding than others) but otherwise you're kind of screwed. So where is the vic you were prescribed? No offense but I'm finding that folks who don't follow the rules make it hell on those of us who do to get proper pain treatment.
I have had RA since I was nine. I've been on EVERY RA medication you can think of . I've had hips replaced and revised as well as knee replacements and spine surgery. It's been tough but I'm a fighter. There is such a stigma for pain meds and I do understand why, it's just some of us use these medications as a way to actually live a semi normal productive life, and NOT for a "high" Anyway because of such a stigma I'm trying to wean off some of my pain meds but it's hard. QUESTION:...I am usually given the 7.5/750 pills but a doctor on call for my rheumatologist this week gave me the 5/325. IS THERE A BIG DIFFERENCE? The 5/325 (he didn't feel right giving me what my real dr. generally prescribes me)pill is small, white, oval, has the number 126 on ...
What difference between Watson/10-325? ## Both contain Hydrocodone 10 mg and Acetaminophen 325 mg. ## BL is correct! Thus, the only difference is that they have been manufactured by different companies. Watson, of course for the one, and Intrapharm for the other. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
How long is a 10/325 tab active for inhibiting pain. VA Cutting back amounts is there anything to use with it or in place of for degenerative arthritis in neck, upper &lower spine, hips & wrists? ## It's been a while since I've ever had to take hydrocodone, but I think the answer to your first question may also depend on each individuals tolerance to the medication as well as their personal level of pain. Based on the 'usual adult dosing schedule' of 1 tab every 4-6 hours, the effects will probably begin to diminish at or around that time frame. As far as adjunctive therapy goes, I would recommend looking into various natural anti-inflammatory herbs, such as: Turmeric, Ginger, Cinnamon, Garlic, & Cayenne, to name a few. I hope this helps!
I have taken hydrocodone 5/325 for knee pain as needed for about 9months, while waiting to move to a different city. I finally made the move in mid December, and had total knee replacement on Feb. 4. After having morphine and a shot block to that leg, pain in the hospital was manageable. Upon discharge, I was given a prescription for Oxycodone. These worked fine so long as I took two. (rx said " 1-2 tablets"). When these were gone, the doctor replaced them with hydrocodone 7.5/325. These just dont work. To get any relief, I have to take extra Tylenol with them, and then I only get relief for about 3 hours, not 6. Is there an alternative pain med I could ask for? I know he is concerned about my getting addicted, but I didn't get addicted in the 9months because I only took the...
I might have fake hydrocodone/acetaminophen pills. They r yellow n have the imprint watson 853. I need a way to find out if they are really counterfeit. Size? weight? Would be really helpful. When I took em I feel a little floaty but I think it's not the effect I should have gotten from taking 2 of em. I got them from my friend. What do u guys think? ## What effect are you expecting? Not all narcotics cause a high effect in everyone that takes them, it may happen with some and not others. And it's very dangerous to take any of them, if they haven't been prescribed for you by your doctor. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
very sick with pnumonia., lung infection., cannot worry about adding, but need to know to plan on getting back to pharmacy. ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? I'm sorry, but there isn't enough information here for me to be able to answer your question. What does the 240 refer to? Is that milliliters?
