I take 8 - 30mg Codeine daily, put some days need a bit more. I have some Hydrocodone 5/ace 500. can I add one or two of these, or take additional Codeine ## You can take 60 mg of Codeine every 4 hrs. But, if they contain 500 mg of tylenol instead of 325 mg, you can only take 2 every 6 hrs due to the high amount of tylenol. Hydrocodone is stronger that Codeine, so you may want to take the hydrocodone only instead.
Hi I took 1 7.5 -325 Monday around 5pm. I'm considering going to a staffing agency tomorrow (Thursday) and was wondering if it would be detected in urine analysis. I haven't been drinking a lot of fluids but normally have around 4- 16 oz glasses of water a day. I'm about 180lbs and 6 ft tall. Please help me out with this!! ## Brad 84, check out the tread on this website titled "Xanax Detection Window", post number 2, has a list of very good websites. Doesn't just tell you about Xanax, it's all the drugs and the length of time.
5/300 is 1/3 the price of 5/325 of hydrocodone acetaminophen at the pharmacy. Does the pain relief compare and is it worth the difference in price? We are talking $13 versus $38 for 25 mg difference. ## It's possible they have already raised the price with hydrocodone combinations meds becoming a Schedule II meds Oct 6, 2014. Everything from manufacturing to dispensing had to have tighter security and the cost has to be passed on to the customer. ## Hello, Debra! How are you? It really depends on how well it works for you. If you don't take this all the time, then you'll likely get adequate relief from the 5/300, though I don't show a listing for that dosage being available, so it would be best to double check with your pharmacy. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has t...
A light yellow oblong shaped tablet imprinted with 36 01 on the front and V on th back. ## T have been taking hydrocod/apap 5/500 and have been changed to hydroc/apap 10/325. whichy is stronger? ## is this pill hydroco/apap ? it has M357 on it ## In regards to the original question, yes the tablet with the 3601 V contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen and is roughly equivalent to what you were taking. The dosage of the narcotic has been raised, while the Acetaminophen has been lowered, to help protect you from the damage that long term use of higher doses of it can cause, such as liver failure. It may even be a little stronger for you and help your pain more, depending on how sensitive you are to the narcotic. You can learn more Vicodin details here. And yes, the tabl...
i take hydrocodone s chedule 111 for severe back pain. now the va says the goverment has ordered it too schedule. will this be a lot weaker? thank you ## Hello, Frank! How are you? No, the schedule a medication is listed on just designates who can prescribe it, why it can be prescribed, how much can be prescribed, whether or not it can have refills on it and etc. But has nothing to do with its efficacy and potency. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
im just trying to find out if m 365 is stronger than watson 3203? ## The tablet with the WATSON 3203 marking contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, while the one with the M365 marking only contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so no it is actually the weaker of the two. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
New to Tyler Texas. I take hydrocodine and zanez. I have been talking them for about eight years. I need a doctor now in Tyler. ## Hello, Maryweather! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a specialist, if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis. Do you have a new PCP, yet? If so, then having them refer you to someone would be the easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area? ## I'm not sure how far Tyler is from Spring, but Dr. Ghanem was my physician and he was very good. His office is labeled "Obstetrics Gynecology and Family Practice" He doesn't seem to have that same hesitation other physicians have when it comes to dealing with pain. He's very th...
i have a pill that is pink and shaped oblonged and on one side it has the number 93 and the other side 149.can you tell me what kind of pill it is? ## This tablet does not contain Hydrocodone, nor any narcotic of any type. The tablet with the 93 149 marking contains 500mgs of Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Learn more Naproxen details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## 500mg Naproxen by Teva USA. Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drug (NSAID). That dosage no longer recommended, 250mg should be the highest single dose anybody should take. Of all NSAIDs, naproxen is the least dangerous - they all, however, increase the chance of sudden stroke or heart attack by a significant degree; worst of all is DICLOFEN...
How long does it take for the side effect of constipation from hydrocodone to wear off? I stopped taking it Sunday and now its Tuesday and there is no relief from the constipation. I feel "swollen" and my stomach is refluxing badly and I am losing my appetite. ## Hello, Jp! How are you feeling? Have you tried anything to relieve it, such as a fiber supplement? That's what I have always found to work best, when I experienced that side effect. You should also have this checked out, because that could be the sign of a serious complication. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
My elderly mother has shingles and was give hydrocodone 5mg with 325 mg acetaminophen. Can i give her half a tablet every three hours instead of a full tablet every six hours to cut down on the possibility of dizziness and falling? ## You need to wait 4 hrs because of the tylenol. ## And it really should be dosed as prescribed by her doctor. Has she experienced dizziness from it? If so, you could try giving her half a tablet every 4 to 6 hours, if her doctor approves. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
I have chronic back pain I broke it in 2006 I have two rods and eight screws I also scratched my spinal cord which causes my legs to tingle so much it hurts and want to cut them off. nothing the doctors have prescribed works. I take hydrocodone that I get off the street that helps but I would prefer to get something that works from a doctor so it is legal. does any one know of a doctor that prescribes pain meds in the Dubuque iowa area ## Hello, Jen! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? If so, that would most likely be the easiest way of finding the help you need. Can anyone re...
I have been taking about 50mg/day hydrocodone for about 2 years. I took my last one today-Saturday afternoon. Would I pass a drug test Monday am? ## My best guess is that you would be positive on a urine drug test, depending on how fast your body burns it up. For a hair test I can almost guarantee you will be positive.
does hyrocodone 10 mg come up the samer as hydrocodone 5mg in a drug test. ## Yes, they are both the same drug and would be detected as such. Where a problem arises, however, is if someone's doctor is also checking their levels of it. If that is done and they were prescribed 5mg tablets, but took 10mg tablets, then their levels would be too high and it would alert the doctor to the situation. Learn more Hydrocodone details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## i was taking one or two lortab tens a day for a couple months and i have a hair follicle test in a few days. i have a prescription for 15-5mg. will i be ok for the test? ## Ok here it goes verwon, I have been hooked on pain pills for about 7 yrs. started taking suboxone about 4 yrs ago and took it for 3 of those yrs...

UpdatedIs Lortab the brand name for Hydrocodone 7.5/325? Or is it Norco, Vicodin, or what? ## The one with 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen would be a generic for Norco, it's the only name brand that has that strength available. However, in most cases they are all just used interchangeable, as long as the medication contains those 2 active ingredients, so you may hear or see it being referred to as any one of the 3. Learn more Norco details here. Many doctors just write the prescriptions as Vicodin and then designate the dosage, because the pharmacy will dispense the correct ones and disregard that they may have used the wrong brand name. Is there anything else I can help with? ## How many days can you get a refill on your prescription hydrocodone acetaminophen 7.5-325 qua...
can you take muscle relaxer with hydrocodone and ibuprofen? ## Only as presscribed by your dr. ## @dawn, It would probably depend on which specific drug you're referring to. But based on my own research, there are drug interactions between the prescription muscle relaxer known as Tizanidine and Hydrocodone. Apparently if you take them together it can potentiate certain side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, lightheadedness, and impaired cognitive abilities. However, with proper dosing and administration your doctor may be able to help you decrease these risks. I hope this helps answer your question! ## Hydrocodone and an actual muscle relaxer will potentiate each other. But, as Davis said with proper dosing instructions, the effects should be minimized.
I found two of these is my Sons room when he was doing homework, and I'm not sure what they are, can these make u feel high? or is it just Tylenol? ## Hello, Alex! How are you? This just contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen, it is available over the counter and is used to treat pain and fever. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness and headache.
