The APAP is simply an abbreviation for Acetaminophen. In terms of how it compares to the Watson (Actavis) formula, this is something that can only be determined by you since everyone is affected different by the same medication(s). Not only that, but you didn't actually list what manufacturer makes your pill, so there is no feasible way to compare it to another manufacturer?
I have to take a little more than 4 10 mg hydrocodone per day due to several neck surgery's; parkinson's w/ dystonia (severe muscle spams)...What should be the levels in my urine? It would be awful to get cut off of somthing that actually worked...Anything more powerful, I break out in hives...I'm also taking other CND like soma and clonipin...Will that make a difference? and I weigh 115 lbs...I used to be 125LBs before my parkinson's really got to me? and I'm fairly sedentary...I don't drive a lot; only work 15 hours per week; and am on disability,,,Don't misunderstand me...I'm also taking sinemet and have tried many many other things...Before adding the bandaids (Clonipin and soma) for spasm, they had me on another combination, but the FDA took it off t...
Found.. White pill imprint Watson 540.. 10 Mg...? Usually they are blue:10mg/500 hydrocodone/acephatamine Different color same imprint? Same thing or not? Usually they have different imprints or why change color..? ## It's interesting you mentioned that because "most" of the images I found have been oval blue pills. I did however come across a legitimate photo of the one you're describing (elliptical, white, imprinted with WATSON 540) at: rxlist.com/vicodin-hp-drug/patient-images-side-effects.htm NOTE: the dosage of the white pill is confirmed to be the same as the blue pill (500mgs of Acetaminophen + 10mgs of Hydrocodone). Manufacturer: Watson Laboratories, Inc. Although the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, it would definite...
How many teaspoons of hydrocodone acetaminophen syrup 7.5 325mg dose it take to equal one 7.5 325mg pill need to know how many pills don't understand the rest Thank u ## Hello, Jake! How are you? Unless the label specifies otherwise, that would 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen per teaspoon (5mls) which is equal to one tablet. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
White short oblong pill with watson 853 on one side and line on other side ## Hello, Kellie! How are you? Watson Pharmaceuticals list this tablet as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. These are the tablets that used to be yellow, but Watson recently started removing the dye from their products, due to some people being allergic to them. Is there anything else I can help with?
I will be taking hydrocodone for dry socket relief for 3 days. Is it OK to also take Ibupropen? ## Hi Dan, Just to confirm, umm.edu does not list any drug interactions between Hydrocodone and Ibuprofen. And to my knowledge, Hydrocodone + Ibuprofen are also commonly prescribed together under the following brand names: Ibudone, Vicoprofen, Reprexain. So I think it's safe to say that there shouldn't be any problems with taking them both, outside of their own individual side effects. However, usually your doctor wants to be informed if you intend on taking anything else along with what he/she prescribed in order to have your back about any concerns with dosing, side effects, or other complications that may or may not arise (knock on wood). I hope this helps!
The 3202 gave me a bumpy, itchy rash! The IP 109 are fine. What is the difference? ## Hello, Amy! How are you? I'm sorry about the reaction you had. My best guess is that there is something different in the inactive ingredients. To explain it simply, there is a pool of them that a manufacture can choose from, they are all excipients that the FDA considers biologically inert, so they don't have an affect on the way the medication works and most people aren't allergic to them and/or don't suffer allergic reactions. But which ones a manufacturer uses is entirely up to them, so they can differ from one generic to another. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, d...

M375 on one side oblong split on the other ## Hello, Freda! How are you? Did you mean M 357? If so, this tablet was manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a dosage that is no longer available, since the maximum dose of Acetaminophen in them now has been lowered to no more than 325mgs. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
What is the difference between Hydocodone 7.5 325 and Norco? I understand Norco has a lesser strength. Both are generic for Vicodin so why would a doctor change it from Hydrocodone to Norco if its exactly the same thing? I get a different result from Norco but not Hydrocodone. Why is that? I can't take Norco. I have chronic pain. Why would a doctor change it to Norco if it's the exact the same thing. Can you explain this to me please? Thank you kindly ## Hi Rosee, Just to confirm, Hydrocodone 7.5/325 ALSO CONTAINS "ACETAMINOPHEN". That's where the 325mg comes into play on the label. So to be clear, it contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone + 325mgs of Acetaminophen. A few other pointers I want to touch on in response to some statements made in your post: - Norco is simply a ...
Do you know what they will substitute the hydrocodone whith ## Hi Rhonda, They're not actually discontinuing this medication. All they are really doing is lessening the amount of Acetaminophen in their products. It started sometime earlier this year, but all manufacturers have to abide by this new law which only allows up to 325 mgs of Acetaminophen. This is primarily due to safety concerns with liver toxicity. Some pain management patients suggest taking an extra Tylenol to make up for it. However I wouldn't necessarily recommend more of something that is considered to be so toxic. Perhaps steering more in the direction of natural alternatives would be a good choice if you're seeking additional relief with less side effects. I hope this helps! ## Thank you so much for your ...
what mg is a semi-square tablet white with red specks? I think it is generic. ## Hello, Deedee! How are you? This tablet contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone, it is a generic for Norco. I was prescribed hydrocodone 5/325 APAP and now I'm prescribed 5/325. No APAP on the bottle. It seems it's not as strong. Is there difference ? ## There is no difference. Apap is short for Acetaminophen . ## @Viking, BL is correct, there is no difference in the name. However the difference in strength that you're noticing could very well be attributed to the different set of inactive ingredients used in each manufacturer's version of this medication; since they have been proven to affect overall bioavailability. Additionally, when it comes to generic meds (such as this one), rumor has it that the FDA permits manufacturers to have a leeway of plus or minus 20% in peak plasma concentrations, compared to brand names. This may mean that there are only 4 active milligrams out...
How many teaspoons of hydrocodone acetaminophen syrup 7.5 325mg dose it take to equal one 7.5 325mg pill need to know how many pills don't understand the rest Thank u ## Hello, Jake! How are you? How is the dosing listed, there should be more to it, such as 7.5/325 per 5ml. And to give you an example, that would mean that each teaspoon (5ml) is equivalent to the dosage of one tablet. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Got someone with these and she thinks they have been remaking them. Is there a way to check them to see if they are the original formulation? ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? Where did she get them? If they are from a legitimate U.S. pharmacy, then she shouldn't have anything to worry about. The tablets with the M 523 marking are manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Package says hydrocodone bitsrtrate And acetaminophen medicine 10/325 by Watson E53 comes in blister packs solid yellow oblong pills with no markings on the pill. ## If there are no markings, it's rather difficult to be sure what they actually contain. Is anyone familiar with these tablets? I've not seen these ones mentioned before, but I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I received some sample.packs from.I.dia.of the watson 10/325. Took for pain in back and iam having bladder. Problems comes slowly out could this come from this pill. ## Hello, Eddy! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Yes, narcotics can sometimes cause that, but it would be best to have it checked out, to be sure of the cause, in case it is unrelated to the medication. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. can I take a zanax with a 10/325 hhdrocodone ## Dorothy yes it may just make you really sleepy ## @Dorothy (original poster), Based on my research involving drug interactions, I actually wouldn't recommend having Hydrocodone with Xanax. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, "it may just make you really sleepy" is a large understatement by post #1. Apparently using the two together can also increase your risk of certain side effects including but not limited to slurred speech, confusion, dizziness, slow/shallow breathing, and impaired cognitive function. Better to play it safe and let your doctor decide what might be best!
