I have been taking Hydrocodone 10 since March for RSD the doctor changed me this week to Acetaminophen/cod3. The doctor said that the law made it where he can not give the hydrocodone any more. I want to know if they are the same? I was told they are the same. I'm scared to take it because I have sleep apnea and a real sensitivity to codone. I get breathing problems and rashes. Not sure what to do at this point. I can not take most opioid drugs. ## Hydrocodone is an opiate. Tylenol #3 has 30 mg Codiene and 325 mg Tylenol. Tylenol # 3 is not as strong as hydrocodone. Look guys, hydrocodone isn't made in India..It is only available in the US, Germany (In pure form for coughs only) and I am not sure about Canada..The good old days of online pharmacies are over, gone. I remember in 2002 you could get 90 10/325 vicodins, and 90 2 mg xanax for $90.00 total..If you see a website that offers the samething run, don't walk away.. You will get ripped off. does hydrocodone apap come in 12.5/500 mg ## No, before the DEA made changes the maximum dosage available only contained 10mgs of the Hydrocodone, since the changes, the maximum available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. I have been taking Hydrocodon-APAP 10-325 2 PILLS EVERY 4 HOURS 3 to 4 times a day for 15 years. My problem is the last few prescriptions I've received have not done much to help with the pain. The last few prescriptions are Watson 853 tablets. I have taken as many as 4 to 4 & 1/2 pills within an hour & a half & it was like I was taking nothing!! I have heard that sometimes the medicine is replaced with a placebo or that the Government is cutting down the ingredient that actually give fast pain relief. My doctor just switched my vicoden and i wanted to know which is stronger the 5-500 pills or the 5-325 pills? ## If you are asking about the Hydrocodone, then neither is stronger, at 5mgs, they are both the same strength. The only thing different about them is the amount of APAP, which is medical speak for Acetaminophen. The one that says 325 only contains 325mgs of it and the one that says 500 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. I was dispensed some counterfeit white Watson's 853's. They looked different to me but I never had a bunk one before. I knew they were bunk because I didn't get any effect from them besides a headache. Also, they were chalky numbers and letters rubbed off easily. Has anyone else come across these? ## Yes. Looked at the 3, it's different. The real ones have a rounded top and bottom. Counterfeits are straight. ## I go to a pain clinic and am prescribed 10mg hydrocodone. I just changed my pharmacy to Kroger because tmy previous pharmacy gave me is pain pills hydrocodone/ 325 acetametaphen 7.5 and they make me sick for some reason even if I eat before taking why I do not know the Watson and peach 7.5 do not make me nauseous but the ips do what kind does Kroger give and what's the difference in the medications? ## Unfortunately, there is no way to know, other than asking at the Kroger pharmacy.
