I had surgery due to a bad pinched nerve on march of 2013 on lots of strong meds, Ive been on the suboxone for 1 month 4mg under your tougne twice a day weaned myself down to 2mg a day...I feel like I'm getting myself in a worst spot...taking this stuff any longer.I stopped my last one on July 25th @ 7pm ....PLEASE SOME HELP ME I NEED SOME ENCOURAGEMENT

Definitely not alone, and this seriously sucks!!! I can't stand feeling like this. Suboxone is literally almost impossible to get off of. I wish I had never started it!!! The Dr's don't mention this when there putting you on it. They should say, "I'm putting you on something that is virtually impossible to get off of, u'll be sick for weeks!" Maybe I would've thought twice about happily going on it!!

I know exactly what you mean!! I'm beyond depressed! :-( It sucks. When u take Oc's or on Sub's, you never really feel depressed. Now besides the "run over by a truck" feeling, I have to be depressed on top of it?!? I'm soo sick, my stomach is turning and my head just won't stop throbbing. How many days have u been going without meds?? I'm looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. I know I'll feel better eventually, but that just doesn't seem to be coming fast enough. I expected to feel sick...just not this sick. And I feel u on the Thyroid issue! I'm Hypo as well and they can't get meds right. Plus I have Lymes Disease and something that's Rheumatoid degenerative disease. So either way my joints hurt normally. Now without that pain meds I feel everything, just ten times worse. Want to give in so bad! But then these 6 days will be for nothing. And yes, I'm already on Xanax. And it does help at times. Thank you for your input. And again, Good Luck, keep up the fight! Now I'm terrified. I have hypoactive thyroid. Was but on subs for months now a new med called zubsolv. I feel like I train has run me over and I'm soo tired with migranes. My Dr lied to me, said there would be no change with meds. HUGE change. Even pharmacy couldn't believe Dr told me no change. It's less than half dosage and I'm so sick. What's wrong with these Dr s. I'd rather be called an addict and be taking oxycontin again but wont/cant. I'm also severely depressed. Was never like this on opiates. :(

Good luck. I know it will get better, just take anymore. If your Dr will give you Klonapin or Xanax it can help... it does get better. I promise.

I truly appreciate your responses. I'm on day 6...and can't say that it's any better yet. The RLS is exhausting, my stomach is always turning and I'm trying to concentrate on my little ones. They help give me hope that it's gonna get better. I have a handful of vicodin 10's...but I refuse to give in and take them, feel better for a day, and then start this fight all over again. I just hope some sort of relief comes soon. I hope you are all hanging in and doing well! Good luck and God Bless!!! If anyone starts feeling any relief, or even if your still feeling horrible, please write something to keep me in the game. I don't want to feel alone in this crazy fight. Thanks.

I'm on the same new med zubsolv and feel worse then ever the pharmacy said it's not as strong as subs so that's why my entire body hurts and I feel like I'm going to throw up at anytime. Told me my body had to get used to it. I was on 300 mg oxy a day then dubs now this. How long can I be sick in bed. I relate. I feel you. Good luck.

I have been on Suboxone 8mg 2x a day for almost 7yrs. I was on pain meds for the lower back afta car accident, just like many of you, &couldn't get off. But it's been an endless hell being on Sub's. Is the Dr gonna be in...is insurance gonna clear me?? Too many anxiety ridden problems every month, waiting to see if I'd get my meds or not. Sick of this fight, &with 2 children that need my full attention. ..trying to get off. Tried tapering and wasn't working. As soon as I felt sick, I'd go and take some. Now I'm on day 5 of cold turkey. I've been on Xanax for almost 9yrs now(since my fiancé passed away from an accident). So it's not really helping the way it would if I just went on it. I felt better on day 3, I really thought I could do this. Now on day5 and feeling more and more sick....when does this start to feel better?!?! I've heard soo many different responses to this. If someone has any advice, or has done cold turkey, and an approx idea of how long I'm going to feel this bad..it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!

I Am Just Beginning The Suboxone Program After Being On Oxycontin Since The Age Of 16, And Than Being Prescrided To 80mg Oxycontin At 18. I Am Now 27yrs old. So To Be Totally honest With All Of You I Have Been A Hard Core " Pill Head" For 12yrs Now. I Have Hated This So Called Medicine That Is Suppose to Help people for a few yrs now!!It Has Slowly but surely taken total control of my Entire life.. My family and even more myself has watch me gradually go straight down hill, From my looks, my emotions, anger, depression, distancing myself from every family member and ever friend I use to have. I went down to 60mg of oxycontin But it didnt matter i would go through i bottle of #90 60mg oxycontin in maybe 2 weeks Than start on a family memebers 80mg oxycontin..i hated my life more than anyone could ever under stand! I had lost Lia, The always happy, funny, care free lia that i loved! and turned into this person i nor my family didnt even know anymore!! THAN I had what i call my miracle my angel from God my precious son... It took me a little while but for him i would do anything, and i want him to have the mommy he deserves more than anything, IM doing this for us!!! and it has been the hardest thing ive ever had to do.. but im in it to win it!! :) I WILL OVER COME THIS!!! So this is the beginning of my journey!! Im super excited but terrified at the same time!! please to you all keep myself in your prayers that i can be strong enough to make it through this till the end, And keep my baby boy in your prayers also please!! Hi I am getting off subs as well and have thought about doing it this way. I have only been on subs for 2 months but started reading more info on how bad this stuff is and want off ASAP!! I was taking up to 12 lortabs a day And from what I am hearing the subs are way stronger. Thanks for any advice you can give.

Man I need to talk about this with someone...thank goodness I'm seeing a dr on Monday. I've been fighting the good fight on and off H for three years and this last time ditched the cold turkey route and decided to give subs a shot. I work in the medical field and my job would not allow time off required for a cold turkey kick. I've been on a new sub med called zubsolv and I feel like I've been run over at all times. Every bone in my body feels broken, unless is exercise vigorously and even that only provides about half an hr of relief. I'm in so much pain my cravings for relief are skyrocketing. It's truly horrifying. Thanks for the insight you provided...I need to look into pain management if the dr I see in a couple days can't help me get off of this stuff without trauma to my body.

My life is getting harder in every way and other periods of sobriety have not been like this...I fear this med is dark in nature...just feels like everything is crumbling around me. At least I know I'm not the only person on earth going through this
