How Can I Get Subutex Not Suboxone? (Page 6) (Top voted first)

I don't know how to go about this as I am shaking and can barely focus, I need help! Please. I fear that my life is going to end from my abuse of opiates. I am currently taking 250 mgs of oxycontin per day. I have a loving fiance and a stepdaughter that I want to be here for. I sit here with cold sweats, and fear going out just because I may make the fearful turn to the meds. Any and all info on how to obtain Subutex would be much appreciated. This wasn't what I wanted my life to be, and I can not let it end this way..Please help me. I am not a religious man but I pray for help as I am at my wits end with this drug.

I read a lot of you talking about getting high I don't know yet what y'all mean.i have yet to feel any out of normal except it does take most of the pain away.But I sure know what withdrawals feel like thought I was going to get surgery and stoped boy that was a wake up call for me but I just don't understand the highs

I think it is absolutely necessary to take, and manage my own inventory not everyone else's. Its so important (for myself) that I dont look outside the box otherwise I will set myself to fail. These drugs are mind altering and very tricky. For me I follow all the suggestions that apply to recovery not failure. I fought, bounced around did all I could to micro manage this medication when the anwser is on the outside of the bottle. All I needed was to follow the instructions, and I'll be damned its been 3years plus plus and I have not picked up. So for that I am so very thankful. Please hang in there all it will work for you as well. : )

MICHELLE: You need to go on Suboxone.com and put in your zipcode. You will get a list of Suboxone doctors in your area. Call them and ask if it would be possible to go onto Subutex instead of Suboxone. Tell them you have a Naloxone allergy. Do you have any documentation that shows you have a Naloxone sensitivity or allergy? Like in your medical files? You may need to go to the ER with some "bad symptoms" like migraines and extreme nausea (if you get what I'm saying) in order to get documentation that you can't take Naloxone. I am actually allergic to Naloxone, so I understand what you are going through. When I first started Bupe, I felt HORRIBLE... migraines almost daily and nausea so bad I couldn't see straight. My Dr. switched me to Subutex, and all that went away. So now it's in my file that I am allergic to Naloxone. Good luck!

I have been on the subutex for 3 years and my life has totally turned around for the better and not every one abuses the tablets! I think if ur serious about your recovery then u don't abuse any meds that u take, I certainly never have!!! So before u say people want the subutex to abuse it over suboxone, think again. It's because the naloxone makes people's bellys hurt n gives me migraines! There lots of reasons why people want subutex over suboxone, simply because it's a better drug than any other to get u clean n stay that way without major withdrawals and side effects!! Thanks.

OCD: Can you please provide a link or more information to this alleged "federal ban" on Subutex/Suboxone? I work with a leading addiction doctor in our area, and we have not heard of this. So if you can provide some information regarding your claim, I would greatly appreciate it.

There is not one doctor alive that’s going to give you Subutex rather than Suboxone because they’re not *****s and apparently you are or you wouldn’t be making this question a public discussion and you just don’t want to be on Suboxone because it doesn’t get ya high…….

I am an opiate survivor on Suboxone and my life changed when I got on Suboxone. I went to weeks taking methadone, locking myself in the apartment when they would get me off of it with the Subutex taper, which is how you take Subutex, not an extended every day, you can’t take that s*** every day and whoever you are, you’re just trying to kill yourself anyway and you’re too much, but I’m not gonna say anymore on that subject because you are ridiculous to think somebody would prescribe you Subutex and Suboxone, so good luck in your quest and make sure you have a will. Actualy, the Naloxone in Suboxone is not even absorbed by your body. It passes right on through. The reason it was put n Suboxone is to deter people from shooting it as the Naloxone would throw them into immediate withdraw. I would just tell the Dr. you cant afford it, and you need a generic. If he wants paid, he'll switch you. If not, get a new r. There are Suboxone clinics as well as G.P.'s that are able to prescribe suboxone or subutex popping up everywhere. Good luck man.

Where is this doc located? I have anxiety and I have been on subtle for 3 years and it kills me to take them, because it makes my anxiety a thousand times worse. Plus it gives me bad bad headaches and makes me sick to my stomach. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I live in ironton Ohio

Hi i was looking for a place to get Subutex in Columbus and found your post. I have been on percocet 30 since i was 15. I am now 22 and i have a good man and a beautiful daughter and these pills are ribbing my life i know i could do so much more with my life i have tried suboxone and it doesn't do nothing but make me feel worse. And people told me it's because i didn't wait long enough do i did and it was the same thing and then i tried Subutex and it helped me so much i was doing it for 2 weeks and didn't touch a30 or think about touching one but then i couldn't find it and my friend was like here you want some of this and i started all over again.. I was wanting to know is the place still open? I don't know how long it's been since you posted. Please help me.

To all those against Subutex, you have obviously never been addicted to anything and have good insurance unlike the rest of us. Probably a spoiled rich kid who says they're an addict for attention. And by the way, in my state, generic Subutex is under 1/2 the price of Suboxone at each and EVERY pharmacy in the state! People without insurance can afford it and its better than killing themselves on heroin or oxy.

My son is a herion addict and I can not get any help without having ins(and truthfully, what addict has ins.) or having a good chunk of cash. Where is Columbus, ohio or Newark, ohio is help available for subutex or suboxone. Thanks

Hello, anyone aware of a doc in Northern IL? I am tired of having to go through addicts and high prices ntm the chance of it faaling thru now and then with getting the subutex..it has been the only thing that's kept me off the needle for 3.5 yrs, and methadone was not a fun ride that's for sure! No insurance and sick and tired of being a slave to these junkies for their meds that they abuse...in dire need, thanks all best of luck

Anybody? Really want some insight if its out there as I get sicker each day and don't want something bad to happen like relapse after being clean as long as I have...I am staying strong but it is hard and I just need the meds, at least enough to where I can taper if at worst

That is so true Subutex comes in a generic form and isn't crazy expensive, it was a life saver for me and totally worth any money I spent on it...it's a hell of a lot cheaper than trying to feed a heroin or oxy habit

ron, there is no way u are on 750 mg per day. u would be dead. i go to a methadone clinic and i am very educated about this medicine.
