How To Take Glycomet Tablets
UpdatedMy blood sugar level is 159 while fasting. My Dr has prescribed me two Glycomet 1gm tablets to take in the afternoon and at night. Is it an appropriate dosing regimen?

It is always best to follow your doctor's dosing instructions. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, flatulence, diarrhea, and hypoglycemia.
Are you on any other medications? Do you check your blood sugar regularly?
