How To Find A Doctor To Prescribe Xanax In Tennessee Who Take Blue Or Tenncare (Page 4)

My Girlfriend is 26 years old and she suffers from a huge anxiety problems and panic attacks on a daily basis. However because of her age we cant find a doctor to prescribe her xanax because so many people her age do abuse prescription drugs and sell them. We know its very addicting but she been on them for seven years and we move for about a year and was having to get them off the streets and moved back to Tenn and there a huge difference in how she reacts to daily life without them. She isa different person when she get them and keeps better control of her self when on them. We feel that she should be on xanax for the rest of her life. So if anyone knows a doctor that would prescribe her xanax around Chattanooga or anywhere in bradley county TN, Please let us know we would really appreciate it thank you

I would really love to know about this dr i have severe anxiety ptsd social anxiety depression im 43 and just looking for a dr to write me xanex or klonipins ive been trying for months i also have severe trauma issues due to the loss of my 8yr old daughter and my mother overdosing and dying on me since then ive also lost 2 sister's and my best friend of 30 yrs i was prescribed xanexs for years and came off of them in 2011 but now my anxiety and panic attacks are almost crippling to the point i don't leave my bedroom forget even interacting with the rest of my family in my home im afraid something will happen and they will be gone too.

I have real bad at bad anxiety disorder and I'm looking for a doctor in the Crossville or Cookeville area that will prescribe Xanax or Klonopin. I've been on them for years but I'm from Georgia and not from here so I'm having a problem finding a doctor to prescribe.

You need to be honest with yourself. You are dependent on this medicine. There is no doubt that most of us could be considered addicts. Is Xanax addictive? Probably one of the most addictive medicines there are. I'd ask your Doc for some extra medication, possibly doubling the dose while you attempt to find a new provider. This stuff can drop you where you stand if not discontinued properly. My Doctor is 74, one day he just wont be there and I realize that. I also know I have been addicted to this medicine for 35 years, I was hospitalized 12 years ago when I ran out and stopped, big mistake in not doing it correctly! Find someone soon

When you find this answer please let me know the info. I am also searching due to type 1 unstable diabetes n severe neuropathy and seems like Tennessee does not care about anyone's health, only about political poll numbers and how good they can speak about an opioid crisis that is not even due to the opiates and xanax's. Actually it is that street drug heroin and xanax, and I guess those are the people that need to worry about dying from it and actually the statistics of that in itself has drastically increased about this since the politicians have taken platform on this subject, which it has hurt so many elderly and disabled innocent victims. I found your message. But still I lack the skills to understand or even remember most things. I don't know what else to do anymore. I stay in a deep depression and have been having these terrible anxiety attacks. I am not needing xanax to feel high or whatever people want to or has to think. It is a long story but the day I found this medication my life changed for the best. My young life was a nightmare.

I am sorry cause I understand! They think they fixed things? No it's going to get so much worse! And they are letting mentally ill people without what they need just to cope with the world they way it used to be! Things are really getting worse. I'm so tired of being scared! I wished I could help you but I can't help myself. It's getting so hard for me to even get up out of bed. Much less if I think I need to leave my safe space! So I don't no how I will even find someone if there was someone.

I will probably be frowned upon more than anyone in here, but I am 30 years old and can go to either Knoxville or Maryville/Alcoa. I am 6 years clean off heroin, but I suffer from Agoraphobia, GAD, Panic Disorder, and PTSD from seeing a few friends die. I have been on every kind of medication besides benzos until I decided to say "screw it" and acquire a prescription from Mexico. This I've been taking about 2-4mg a day for 3 years and I don't need to get buzzed. It's like I can actually can think with a clear head and go out in society without having a meltdown.

My best bet is to find a cash only nurse practitioner who I can be honest with. If anyone could point me in the right direction I will be son grateful. Believe it or not, I really am trying my best at being a good person and I'm so scared that someday the DEA is going to raid my house thinking I'm a drug dealer. Someone please help, I can afford the cash only places. I hope you all have been able to find a doctor to help you!

I am about to make a phone call to Knoxville to get back on Xanax that I have stopped on my own cold turkey. I am told she will do thus with only 1st visit from her home, the rest are online. You are doing the right thing. It does take time to even come off drugs due to withdrawals. {edited for privacy}

I envy you, it seems there are online options for people who have previous scripts, but since I've only been prescribed one Valium at a time for MRI's and epidural steroid injections, my only option is a cash only nurse practitioner:(

Hello Robyn, Knoxville is close enough. Please share who the Dr. Is. I tried every medicine out there and Xanax was the only thing that works with no side effects. I don't even need to take it but 3 or 4 times a month for sudden panic. I can't find anyone to prescribe it and I can't keep a job without it. Sudden public panic attacks are so embarrassing! Please share any Dr. Information you have.
