I weight about 100 pounds, I've been taking left over 15mg of morphine for my back for about a week and a half now (just once a day). But I have a job interview coming up and I'm pretty sure they will give me a paper for a urine test (as do most jobs). Because I have a fast metabolism will it be out of my system in two to five days?

David, 200mg Morphine? holy s*** that's a lot!How do you get that much? Is it timed-release (i.e. MS Contin?). I have severe pain and honestly, Morphine barely touches it. 40mg of Vicodin on the other hand completely relieves the pain and gives me a nice warm and fuzzy buzz.Vicodin is a friend with benefits so to speak. I'm trying to get Oxymorphone or better yet, Levorphanol. Not to get high really, severe pain is a motherf***er. For high-ness, good weed is my choice. Stays in the system for a very long time though. DMT is the best. Amazing.

I don't understand why you're concerned about a urine test. I take 15mg Morphine (time release), a fairly small dose. Also Vicodin, 10mg for "breakthrough" pain. As long as (do you?) have a doctor's prescription, it's really no different than any other drug. I'm a Type 1 Diabetic and I take Insulin. I have Hypothyroidism and I take Levothyroxine. I have Discoid Lupus and I take Hydroxychloroquine tablets and use Ketoconazole cream. There's nothing wrong with the legitimate, medical use of anything so I wouldn't worry. If I were applying for a job, had to take a drug test.. it would be positive for opiates. And I would say "Of course, I have severe lower back pain as a result of Osteoarthritis and my Doctor at the VA has me on a monitored regimen of Morphine and Hydrocodone." Maybe I missed something. If you are under a Doctor's care and have a prescription you have nothing to worry about. If you test positive for opiates and don't have a prescription then heed the other replies. I don't use the narcotics to get a buzz. That's what marijuana is for. Wish it was legal-medicinal where I live. Best to you and don't worry too much. Good luck and best wishes. To tell u the truth, just to be sure I always bring in a long pill bottle with someone's clean urine with me. Before I go to take my test, I put the urine in the pill bottle under my beast so it will have your body temp. when I get in the bathroom I put urine in there bottle. Believe me it always works. As I am living prove. I do this for jobs, and also when I go see my pain doctor cause I like to smoke if u know what I mean. Believe me it has never failed me and always works.. that's only because they don't go into the bathroom with u. I know I should not share this due to being a nurse but these days jobs are important to us. I hope this can help you get your job.

Morphine is generally detectable in urine for up to 4 days, after taking it. However, the time frame can vary, depending on your individual metabolism, activity levels, overall health, fluid intake and etc.

Therefore, you are probably going to want to wait a few days, before having the test, if it isn't a current prescription that you should be taking.
