Prescribed in 2008, how long is this medicine safe to take?

The tablet with this marking contains 10mgs of Cyclobenzaprine, the active ingredient in Flexeril, which is a muscle relaxant.

This medication doesn't get dangerous, after the expiration date, but it does lose effectiveness over time, so it will not work as well as it did, when it was new.
