I took only one 7.5 lortab and was drug tested. Will it show up in my urine? If so, for how long?

so if i took 4 -10 mg tabs on sat.1pm and have a drug test @ 5pm on wed also took 20 mg for 2 days before the 40 mg for severe pain will i be okay?

Depending on Your' metabolism, anywhere from 36-72 hours. Because You're raking it on a daily basis, it usually takes longer than if You'd just taken it once or twice. Hope this is helpful!

Hi hope all is well! Just a quick question, please? Is Norco 5/325 and Norco 7/325, basically the same thing, one a bit stronger than the other? When filled off of legal prescriptions, the pharmacist fills it and the Norco name changes to the generic name Hydrocodone? Perhaps because generic is less expensive? If these two med were taken together before a in office urine test, and only(kind)is prescribed to the patient taken the test, but accidentally had both kinds in their system around time of test, does that show up on the urine test, as two different meds because the prescription strengths and all are different? If so...what kind of time frame would be needed to get back on track before testing? Just a negligent thing that happens occasionally, perhaps due to getting a bit older and a lot more senile! Haha! thank you so much for your time!

Honey it's not pple like "US" making problems its the ones selling them; who by the way, R on pain management just like u. And w/ all ur being prescribed u have no room 2 speak ill of anyone. NO ONE NEEDS THAT MUCH MEDICATION.

I was having a bad migraine last night and my dad gave me a hydrocodone last night at around 10:30PM. Looked it up as Norco (5-325). Today I got a job offer and have to take a drug test within 24 hours of 9:40 am today.

I know it will probably show up and am wondering what my best option is. Should I tell my possible future employer before my I go to take the test or tell the clinic or both? I really need this job. This was the first hydro I've taken and am no a pill popper at all.

No they can't detect how much that is in your system as long as you are taking them I've been disabled for 4 years and I'm on tremadol and I'm on percocets and some time I have to take both of those also and as long as that take both of them I'm okay so you are okay and I'm just saying because sometimes they are not enough for the pain that you're in sometime I'm not going to lie I have to take extra percocets

Unfortunately, probably yes. Cocaine has a half life of 3-5 days.

Lortab and Vicoden are brand names for hydrocodone. It's the same drug, so you'll be fine.

Lovepain is incorrect! Meds DO show up differnt on a drug screen. For instance if your prescribed Oxycodone & you take hydrocode it WILL show up different! most dr now don't just do an opiate test. hydrocodone has a morphine base in it that oxycodone does NOT so they show up as a differnt medication. I know 110% this is correct from experience! I'm percribed percocets (oxycodone) by my pain management dr but went to the dentist & had a tooth pulled, dentist wrote me an rx for lortab (hydrocodone)..when I went to take my bi Monthly regular visit I have w pain manangment it DID show up as DIFFERENT medications which I had a explanation for so I wasn't in any trouble but Lovepain was NOT correct. Medications are rarely lumped up into ONE opiate these days! FYI

Keep in mind that drug tests often check for the metabolites if hydrocodone such as hydro morphone which may have a longer detection time

Be careful it gets harder every month just to keep getting meds. Best thing is take what they give you and nothing else!

Pain is considered the 5th vital sign because it has great effect on the quality of life of a person. The meds being discussed have a high potential for abuse, and one may form an addiction without realizing it, as that is common for addiction. If you have truly taken only one or two you should be ok in about three days. They are looking for a certain amount ppm in your blood. Don't listen to the guy above, while his argument is partially correct, he has no more right to that medication then anyone else. If you don't have health care talk to someone who can help, a case worker. Get insurance and talk to a doctor. They are there for a reason. I am intelligent enough to know what I can do, but that doesn't make it legal. So do it the right way, there are plenty of people who want to help. On the other side though, legal or not, if your taking to much you might ruin your life, be careful and follow doctors orders, they know more than most.

Lortab and Vicodin are the same thing in that they both contain Hydrocodone. You have no clue what you are talking about.

You made some valid points, but you may want to hold some of the judgment. People (even if you don't agree with what they are doing) need a place that they can be honest and ask for help. Personally I do think it's pretty silly to put yourself in the position that some people do, by not staying clean when they know they have to drug test. The penalty that they are going to pay for not passing the drug test, sure isn't most time worth that little high that they get.

I am chronic and check all the time for "new cures", so far no luck. I do rely on my medication and it is getting harder weekly to have medical care and to get the medications that I need. Unfortunately some of my medications are popular, which puts me in a position at the pharmacy, with doctors, all across the board. Because of people who are abusing the system. Personally also, :) I would prefer that people who want to feel high, go purchase something that's illegal and have a great time at it. Leave the doctors and the legit pharmacies out of the party picture.

I have put this to the test. A 10mg hydrocodone will be in your blood and urine for roughly about 12-24 hours. Ot is not fat soluble like marijuana so you have the option of exercising and sweating this poison out. These are highly addictive. But to each their own.

I totally agree. Those of us suffer greatly because of those who abuse it. I was in a car accident and had a twisted pelvic, back pain, nerve damage and shattered should. I suffer every day.

Marijuana stays in your system 30 plus days if you're a daily or frequent user NOT percocet or vicodin nor any generic forms of these meds...they have a life span of 24 hrs but stay in your system from 2 to 5 days depending on your body...wish ppl would just Google this and get fact instead of posting bulls***. .but even more so i wish ppl would stop taking meds that are not prescribed to them...if you have a problem get help but common sense tells one if you know you have a drug test don't take anything not prescribed to you....why is this concept so difficult to grasp...

It's so damn redundant when people keep asking the same questions. ..like they don't read prior posts and ppls replies...you may have your answers without even needing to ask...

A site called passyourdrugtest has a timetable with a list of drugs legal and illegal and the times they show up in urine....blood and hair root tests...This is a legitimate site so use this if y'all insist on using meds that aren't prescribed to you or are illegal especially right before a drug test you know you're taking days from doing drugs

It is incredible how many of you have had to undergo so much because of pain. I, personally, had an accident two years ago and had to undergo several surgeries. Hoping for the best, unfortunately I was still in excruciating pain. Pain medications helped, but I have an autistic child, plus I was concerned about the consequences of these medications and how they may harm my body. My mother in law told me about a natural medicine that, I was reluctant about, but she said that it would improve my condition greatly. I have been taking it for a week and, not only is my pain gone, but I have energy and am able to sleep better. Not only am I greatful for this, but I want to share this with others that are in the same position.
