How Long Does Ativan Stay In Your Urine (Page 5) (Top voted first)

I took 10 mg of Ativan on Saturday night and have a urine drug test today, Tuesday at 5:30. Will it be out by then?

#1 WRONG.... Do some real research, XANAX leaves the system in 3-5 days. And other factors play into this as well, how often did you take and the quantity.. If you took say 2-3 mg for 2 weeks it MIGHT be 5-7 days.... Xanax has a SUPER SHORT HAL LIFE. Everyone thinks this is true, even I thought it was 42 days, it IS NOT. That is XANAX though and its one of the best acting, but short lived. If one was to take say 2 MG before a drug test 3-4 days later its long gone. That is a single dose, unlike being on them everyday for several weks, they build up. Same is true for almost any drug like that..... Before responding something stupid and non researched FACTS and not just hear-say then comment.

Excuse me what? Lorazepam is the active ingredient? No, thats the GENERIC NAME!

I beg to differ, adivan was still in my system 30 days after and I took a very low dose as well for my anxiety. I'm in no trouble with the law or probation, but it still showed as adivan, not xanax, Valium, or anything. It specifically showed as ativan. You can drink lots of h2o to dilute it, but you'll have to do that for up to 60 days to be safe. I know 1st hand and as I said, I took a very low dose, like 2mg ONE TIME. GOOD LUCK.

You guys are horrible. The drug will leave your system in roughly 3 days, however it will still be detectable by urinalysis for at least 7 days... Longer if you have been taking lorazepam over a period of quite a few days.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! ive been taking ativan for anxiety and just got a new job opportunity ... gonna test in about 4 days, last time i took ativan was roughly 5 days... ive read so much about ativan staying in you for up to 6 weeks .. really freaked me out, thank you for the bit of peace of mind ! i hope youre right.

I am on suboxcone a program I took prob 8 .5 s the last few nights. My urine gets sent in take about a week or 2 for it to come back. I'm about 125lbs female. I'm on clanazapams .5 but before I went in to see him I did get put on lorazapams. I have now til the 15 th at 1030 am to see him. Also I took 2 perk 5/325 will this be in my system? In 7 days? Remember mine get sent in..help me asap

I know from past drug screen's that any benzo stay's in your system from up to 30 to 60 day's. I took 2 valuim 5mg an failed my drug screen's for 60 day's an this was for drug court so be careful. I don't do benzo's ever an this was in my system so if u r a heave user they take longer to get out,an my husband is a big user an failed for benzo's for 6 month's

Once I took 0.5 mg of Ativan on a mon. Had an interview 8 days later on a tues, and it still tested positive for benzodiazepines. It can take up to 14 days sometimes longer to pee clean again.

There is a chance that it will still be detected. Ativan contains the active ingredient Lorazepam, which is a Benzodiazepine and these can be detected for as long as 6 weeks, after taking them.

However, if you have a prescription for them, there is no need to be concerned, you just have to inform them of such, when you go in for the test.
