How Long Do I Have To Wait Take Suboxone after taking 10mg oxycodone so i dont go into precipitated withdrawals?

My uncle takes suboxone and morphine for pain. He just doesn't feel euphoria from the morphine because the suboxone blocks it but he still gets pain relief.

WRONG YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN FULL WITHDRAWALS YOU CAN TAKE A SUB JUST MEER HOURS AFTER DOSING OXYCODONE THANK YOU VERY MUCH WITHOUT THE FEAR OF PRECIPITATED WITHDRAWALS

I've been an addict for about 20 years. I recently tried to get clean. After 24 hours after taking H before I took 4mgs of Suboxone. Like I said 20 years as an addict...But I have NEVER had wds like I did after taking the 4mgs. Within minutes I was in the worst pain ever and the anxiety and flipping and flopping around and the hot/cold flashes were so bad. The only good part is the ads are over quickly, I felt better within an hour but wouldn't wish that feeling on anyone. If you can, wait at least a couple days for methadone, if you can't, buckle up for an hour or so and go for it. Like I said it's THE worst but it's over in hors not days.

I was on fifty milligrams for five years then I stopped going to methadone clinic and I did 200 milligrams of pill form of methadone but I have not took anything for four day's can I take a suboxon

If you're talking about methamphetamine it's not an opioid and you can take subs while taking it with no risk of precipitated withdrawals. If you're talking about methadone on the other hand which is a long acting opioid you should wait 48-72 hours before taking subs. Please be more specific when dowling out info information that potentially cause someone great pain. I took 15mg of oxycodone at 9:00am and 2/0.5 mg of subs at 1:00pm it's now 2:00pm and I feel fine. For what it's worth

Hey there I feel your pain my kids used to sit beside the bed and keep asking how long are you going to be sick mommy because we want to play with you. It literally breaks my heart thinking about those times and I am forever grateful to suboxone. I was able to get into a grant program that supplies me with 30 12mg strips a month and they have made such a difference in my life. No more sick Mommy. You will get through this remember baby steps and just for today. I to have history of anxiety and depression and have had absolutely no adverse reactions to the suboxone. PEACE AND LOVE MY FRIEND

I was on a Suboxone treatment plan for almost 3 months earlier this year, then moved to a new state. I couldn't get into a sub doctor for 3 weeks, so what would most of us addicts do? I substituted with opiates. Finally got a doctor, and put back on two 8 mg subs daily. I waited a good 15 hours to take my first sub after my last dose, but was thrown into pwd's. That was the most horrifying experience of my life. I just don't understand how I could have been thrown into pwd's. I thought I waited plenty long enough. Now I'm in the boat of being too terrified to start the subs, again, because of fear of pwd's again.

In my experience of being an addict for over 16 years i found that don't focus on the hours but just how you feel. The last time i was on 30mg roxy's and taking 10-12 a day i ended up waiting about 16 hours to take my subs. I took the last of my roxy at about 830am and went til about midnight when i woke up sweating and in the first stages of WD when i took 2mg of subs, waitied an hour felt about same maybe little better then took another 4mg of subs and back to sleep i went. If you take to early because your afraid of feeling any WD's you will regret it. Precipitated WD's are weekend killers to say the least. WAIT til the first signs of WD then you should be fine. The physical WD's not the mental issue of "i dont want to feel bad". You must feel bad to feel good. Hope this helps.

You're 100% right and know your stuff. I took 1 x 10mg oxycodone, and then about 5-6 hours later, took a 4mg suboxone and I'm all good now.

No sir! If you're switching to subs and coming off of methadone you HAVe to wait at least 72hrs. I always go 4 days before subbin' it up. Then again O've been using methadone for 8 years.

I was wondering how you are doing? Did you kick the opiates and start the sub? Suboxone has been a miracle for me. I’m on such a small amount and won’t be on it long. The pain the opiates caused was worse than anything imaginable along with the depression. I don’t know how folks go back to taking them I don’t even think of them anymore and it feels so good! I? understand completely. It’s like you only feel normal when you’re high .. but that perfect high takes from your kids diapers, clothes and future. Which puts you in a depressive state that causes you to want them more because you feel like a failure.. let me tell you. Suboxen saved me. Now some people are against it but the other 40% that’s all for it will tell you, it’s a huge life savor. Since I? started it I? can go to parks w them, shopping w them, school functions. It saved me in so many ways. Go into your nearest pain clinic and ask to be on the suboxen plan. It’ll help

I'm way outta control on my Roxy use. It started as just taking half of a 30. Then a whole 30, then two 30s a day. Now I can take 4 a day and be just fine. It consumes all of my money. What the hell do I do? I don't have insurance. But if I don't have a lil magic f***ing pill on my dresser in the morning to take, my day isn't worth a shot, hell that's if I get outta bed. I just can't do the withdrawals. I have a sub strip and I took my last 30 at 8:30 this morning. It's now 3:30pm and I'm gonna try it. I hope to god it doesn't make me sick. But I'm used to taking a 30 and have another 2. So here goes. I really would like to kick this habit. Life is miserable with this addiction.

I have somewhat of a fast metabolism. I was on 40 mg methadone and my last dose was 7 days ago but I took a 15 mg oxycodone about 4 hours ago and I'm still feeling some withdrawal. Can I take 1/4 of 2-8mg Suboxone now? I'm really really scared of being any sicker.
